Chapter 6: To Seek

Zen's POV;

I put the mug in the counter, didn't mind the stare Kiel throws at me seeing that I was using his equipments. Pouring the hot coffee and the steamed milk into the large cup at the same time, creating the essence of aroma that reaches my nose with delightful flavor.

"My lovely tasty sweety Café au Lait~" I warp the cup around my fingers and enjoy each the taste of foam of coffee.

"Guys! Have some coffee!" I call the other's attentions as they were still busy.

"No thanks." George deny while sweeping.

"Maybe later, Zen." Ivan answered.

"Me neither." As well as Renji who was busy wiping all the utensil with Ran.

"Can I?" Laurence finally want some.

"Sure!" I nod so he immediately grab a cup and searching for his favorite coffee.

"How about you Kiel? Don't you want some?" I sat on the couch above his head where he's lying while gripping the warm cup.

"Nah." He coldly respond and didn't move his arms that was covering his eyes.

"We almost run out of coffee. But good thing, there was even an espresso left." Laurence says as he checked the powders in the cabinet while sipping a coffee.

I didn't mind them afterward and was out of my thoughts when I remember something. " Come to think of it Kiel, are you telling me last night that we still have to search something?" I blinked.

And that's when he peek from his sleeves, eyes on me and was asking, "What time is it?"

"Erm..... Almost seven." I look at the grandfather clock standing in the corner when something crossed my mind. "Wait, don't tell me you'll going to search a human for your own need?"

Yet he just stare straight to my eyes, didn't answer my question.

"What?" Cluelessness fill my face for a minute.

He rise from lying and grab the mug in my hands then took a sip. I just look at him thinking about what he'll gonna do.

"After you're done, meet me outside with Ran. Be sure to quick, I hate to be kept waiting for a long time." My face broke into colorless for what he meant as he stand up and went to the door outside.

'Did he just saying I'm too slow?! This crazy vampire, darn him!'

"Be quick!" He reminds before getting out.

"Dammit, geez!" I should have kick the table in frustration but thanks to the coffee, I calm a bit.

"What happened?" Ran ask as soon as he approach me.

"Your Master said there's something we have to do." I exhaled.

"Oh. As he told us, maybe we'll going to seek the portal between the two world."

I blink a few times.

"You mean..... Those monsters used to come here to Earth from the Underworld?" He nod for my question.

I stood and grab my blazer while Ran vanished from my sight, maybe changing. Then I untie my hair, letting it's silver tips hanging to the edge of my back and turn to the four boys that was busy with their phones.

"Laurence." I call the guy who seems to be enjoy in his coffee, he turn to me with both of his brows slightly raise.

"What?"

"You'll be in charge here tonight. There's still a matter we have to face. Can you do it?"

"Sure! No problem with it. Good luck!"

He flipped his hands in agree and just Ran exactly came out. Wearing his whole uniform, reveal his arm that was covered in bandage all the time.

'Seems like he's ready.'

"Done?"

"Yes." He responds.

We step outside and saw Kiel leaning towards the door, waiting for us.

"You two are slow. I told you I hate to kept waiting for a long time."

"I'm sorry, Master." Ran apologized.

"Huh? Man, it's just a couple of minutes."

"A prince shouldn't be the one to keep waiting on." He strictly added.

'There he goes, again'

"Prince, my a*s. Tsk!" I rolled my eyes.

"What did you say?" His face darkened.

"I said we need to go now."

Then we start to search for the energy the portal gives to the atmosphere. Less than a thirty minutes, we set our foot at the woody site, it probably count as the Hydra Park.

This park has very huge amount of area wherein trees invades the place and not even a building you'll saw inside of the forest. Hydra Park also is not far from the Café.

We went inside as the surroundings began to change into a heavy environment even though we just took a few steps from the outside. Guarding myself, the odor I smell become strong, hard and more heavy as we enter in the deeper part of the forest and I know they can feel it too.

'Here we are, I can sense the same energy Ran mention before.'

Taking ourselves a steps further, a sudden attack in our way made us duck while a few monsters started to came out from every corner, Ran quickly grab some firearms and point it to their way and started to shoot.

I run towards their direction as my wolf form started to stand out and become visible. I can sense the pressure of every part of my body from the top of my head, down the bone to the bottom of my feet.

My ears grow, making me enable to hear a multiple sounds and predict their movements through the force they left in the air. Strengths flows through my arms as the silver fur emerge from the lower part of my elbows to my fingertips and making my nails grow long and instantly become sharp. A furry tail appeared in the bottom of my spine as well as my furry knees bend and become large that can make me jump high.

They were about to swing their arms on me but I bury my hands beneath their flesh, tearing them apart and turning them into dust. I did it as well to the rest I encountered and even jump to their heads and s***h their nape that reserved as their vital weakness.

I jump again to the heads and slit their weak spot until there's no more hindrances in our sight. After we cleared the specific area, we continue to depart to the deeper part of the forest. I look up above the sky and witnessed the moon that was slowly sealed through the gray cloud and asking the guy between me and Ran.

"What would we do after we reach the spot?"

"Rid it."

I paused for his response and turn to him with a confused expression. I blinked a few times, trying to process for the two words he saying.

"How? You know it's impossible to rid-"

"By sealing it." He cut me off before I could finish for what I have to say.

"Oh..... Did you figure out how to do it?" I ask and he confidently nod.

After a hour of walking, the energy was getting heavier as we walked into the woods and it looks like we're almost there. But while my brain was busy thinking something, another attack we meet along the way.

With a huge beast that was jumping to our direction, Ran shoot with his bazooka, creating a loud bang and made the ground rumbled. After it was burn along the explosion, fires turn into mist that gathers around to it's spot where it last exist.

Tranquility occured the space as we watch it engulfed by the fire however, a giant claw comes out from it and fortunately, we manage to dodge.

It suddenly release a roar, maybe calling for help before the beast turn to us with it's fierce red eyes. Within a few seconds, monsters came into the view from everywhere, surrounding us.

And this will gonna be a tough fight because most of them wears an armor and some has a different types of weapons. With a giant and bulky bodies, there's no way I can damage them easily.

"Ran. Can I borrow your dagger?"

"Hoh~ Why would you borrow such a thing when you already have your claws that enough to rip them apart?" Kiel turn to me and ask.

"Just in case." I answered.

"Here. This dagger contains a venom, be careful. However, it's durability was depending on the user. You can either assemble it into one or separate them into two." Ran explained and hand me the weapon.

A simple design of dagger with double edges and sharp point like a needle. It's all black but you'll notice a small green circle in both sides that looks like a snake eye between the handle and the blade. It also has a length of 24 inches, so means every piece of the weapon has 12 inches.

"What's the name of that?" Kiel ask from nowhere.

Silence, again occured between the three of us. My jaw drop for his question, I thought it was something so serious.

"Ahh, I haven't thought about it yet, Master." Ran answered while spinning a g*n on his palm.

"Really Ezekiel? Seriously? You really have guts to ask a ridiculous inquiry despite in our situation?"

"Oh shut up there Enzo."

"Hey! You should ask about something that related to the situa-"

But to my surprise, he throw a card to my direction and I thought it would hit me but it just flew through me and directly hit something on my back, making a blast. I was speechless for a moment when a voice spoke at my back, I didn't even notice that he use his vampire speed.

"Watch your back." He remind.

"Concern?" My lips form a grin.

"I don't want a burden in the group."

My grin suddenly disappear and my face turn into dissatisfaction and just roll my eyes in disappointment.

"Thank you. Not thank you."

Then I charge into the huge group of hindrance and slit their necks. Using my left claws and right a double bladed dagger, I can easily kill dozen of them.

Slash here, and there, I keep on slashing but as I notice, they also keep increasing. Guns keep on shooting endlessly and saw Kiel also dealing with many of them.

I was thinking to ask but eventually stopped myself to do so because of the disappointment I felt earlier that still didn't fade, however, the longer I hold back, the higher risk will be fall upon us thinking that we might can't reach the portal.

"Hey! How can we supposed to finish this guys?! Darn, they're getting thicker!" I finally yell but I didn't get an answer.

I turn to them and saw that they're also having a hard dealing with many of them. Kiel use his sword with a majestic design, as expected from the vampire prince.

"KIEL! RAN! WATCH OUT!!" I yell again when the the five armed monsters with a different weapons pounce to the spot of the two.

But as soon as they turn to where I meant, black flame overwhelm the area, from the surface to the above, higher than trees. With a huge impact, the three of us was thrown to the ground while all the underworld creature was now being tossed above like they were just a piece of paper.

I was going to stand but the force of the fire keep my strength from getting up and sense the gravitational sensation within our body. I could hardly look above yet I still force myself to do so but to my fright, another flame was exist.

This time, it was purple. I stick to the ground when I sense that it has a familiar atmosphere. A very familiar energy, to think of it, it was the energy I've been searching before, maybe in a few centuries ago.

It immediately burn the bodies of monsters, leaving only their armors and weapon that was already consumed by the purple fire. As all the things in above falls on the ground, the flame turn into a normal one, a red color.

"Did you just did that, Kiel?" I turn to the vampire with a amazement reaction but saw him lying unconsciously, made my face turn from admire to worry.

"Master?" Ran tries to wake him up but he didn't even move.

"Oi Kiel wake up." I tap his shoulder but still none.

"There's no time for drama, okay?"

I decide to check for his pulse even though I know vampires hasn't any. But as the tip of my finger land in his pale and cold skin, he yank his wrist away from my grip. I've become speechless thinking that something has off with him.

"How dare you touch a prince without a permission? Are you a medic?" He calmly says with his eyes closed, making me flinch and sat back.

"What the f**k you s**t! You're awake yet you didn't give us a warning!?" I kick his feet and I hear him gasp a bit.

"Are you still fine?" I paused and ask but he just ignored me and stand up, so am I.

"What happened?" He then ask while twitching his eyes.

"The flames destroy the enemies, Master."

"Oh come on, don't be silly man. I know you control those fire, don't tell me you didn't saw it?"

"Control what?" His eyebrows raise.

I blink a few times in his question.

"Are you serious? You're asking like you don't even remember."

"What are you talking about? Just get to the point, dumbass." My jaw drop.

'He really didn't?!'

"Sapak you want? Baka maalala mo pa ang nangyari. (Smack you want? You might remembered what happened.) Dammit, Ran! Explain it to your Master."

"I can understand that language, Zen. Don't you dare. Okay Ran, tell me." He roll his eyes.

"Black flame appeared, followed by purple flame and exterminate them all."

We became silent, waiting for his answer but what his question made us freeze.

"Who are you?"
