*it's always the people who love saying "never settle for less" who end up settling for less anyway... and honestly, i'm one of them. i used to say that line like i really meant it, but the moment someone gives me a little attention, a little effort, a little care, i start thinking it's something special. funny how you think you know your standards until emotions get involved. sometimes it's not that you want less, you just want to feel chosen. but yeah... i guess i'm living proof that the ones who talk about standards the most are the same ones who forget them the fastest.*🫂🥹❤️
