Maya POV.
I strode into the motel's lobby from the store and was surprised to find it empty.
Where did he go?
"Hello?" I called out, "Rob, are you there?"
I was met with silence.
I had his money and wanted to give it to him. But since he was nowhere to be found. I decided to go back to my room.
I entered the room and locked the door.
Deciding to take a shower, I removed my clothes and went into the bathroom.
Halfway into my shower, I noticed the water went off.
What the hell?
I turned the shower faucet this way and that, but the water only trickled till it totally stopped.
Thankfully, I had not lathered my face yet, just my body.
I really hated soap drying on my body.
