Chapter 27 Vladimir was back in his Kiev headquarters and enjoying a shot of his favourite vodka to toast his success. Close to pulling off the biggest arms deal of his life; he was in a celebratory mood. But as usual, he had no one to share it with. His own betrayal of his brother had fed his paranoia that everyone was out to get him and had driven him to a life of solitude. His only company was the occasional visit from one of his favourite prostitutes, whom he knew without a doubt would not betray him through fear of not only their own death, but that of their families too.
