The car ahead was travelling quickly, but Viktor was the more desperate driver of the two, and quickly gained ground in his pursuit of Vladimir and Amy. The tunnel was narrow, the walls closed in tight around the car and the sparsely located lights shone dimly in a steady sequence down the tunnel. The red taillights in the distance got steadily bigger and brighter as Viktor closed the gap between the cars. Viktor was desperate to catch Vladimir before he could steal Amy away forever.
