Chapter 51
The last strains of the day’s light shone weakly through the small window up high in Brittney’s prison cell. She was in serious pain from the blow to her head from Borys that had knocked her senseless sometime the day before. She reached up the side of her face and could feel the bruise already formed, her eye half closed and cheek puffy with swelling. She was tired, sore, confused, worried about her family and extremely pissed off.
So much had happened in the last few days that Brittney hardly knew what to think anymore. At least she now had some idea about what was going on and some new information about her past, but she was particularly worried about her mother and what that psycho Vladimir was going to do with her, not to mention the gorilla that would soon be returning.
