Twenty-four years ago
The door to Alexander's room slowly creaked open. Hearing his room door opening slowly, Alexander opened his eyes slowly and saw his mother wearing a hooded sweater and a pair of sweatpants, and running shoes with her long blond hair tied into a ponytail.
" Mommy?" he whispered sleepily as she closed the door gently then turned around and looked at him.
" I'm sorry for waking you up little one," she said as she closed his room door. She walked towards his bed and then laid down beside him on the bed. Without any hesitation, Alexander began cuddling with his mother.
The both of them lay there silently enjoying each other's company Alexander yawned and then rubbed his eyes. But that's when he saw his mother's clothes
