Alexander stared into the fireplace blankly as Scarlett walked into the living room nervously, he had sounded furious when he woke her up and that terrified her because that was totally unlike him.
Alexander didn't acknowledge her as he sipped from his glass of scotch. As she sat down he finally looked at her and she could see his red puffy eyes from crying earlier. " How could you?" He said looking at her and throwing down a large brown envelope on the table.
