It was Deputy Jordan Fox, and she didn’t seem happy. “What’s up Jordan, you sound pissed about something?” Harrison said as he drove the police SUV along a narrow country lane, heading back to town. “Trent’s missin’ sheriff, ain’t nobody seen him. He ain’t left by train or the bus. I just checked the train and bus station, no one has seen him. And by the look of his place, he didn’t go back last night,” Jordan said.
