CHAPTER FIFTEEN It was half-past three by the time Harrison got back to the station. He had stopped off at the Roundtree Hotel to ensure everything was set up for the FBI agent. The agent was to be in room twelve. This was one of the better rooms. It was a double with a bath and shower facilities, and a small flat-screen TV. It was a corner room with two windows giving a clear view of Main Street, the park, and the Town Hall. Harrison parked his duty vehicle in the spot marked Sheriff in the parking lot. The Sheriff’s Office was a one-story square building. The main doors sat at the end of a short path with a row of short bushes on either side.
