When Aspen’s grandmother dies and leaves an entire fortune in her name, she really is that thrilled about it. However, with a heavy heart and a fleeting promise to said grandmother weighing down her mind, Aspen vows to keep the treasures bestowed upon her safe from the greedy hands of her family.

But when she finds a book that unleashes great evil unto her previously quiet life, she is no doubt thrown for a loop. Between controlling evil books, mastering newfound powers, and escaping what seems to be a mysterious villain, Aspen starts to think that a greedy family is the least of her problems.
