strange encounters p-18

"No i just got home ..

yeah i had a really tough day..

the bank had to evacuate everyone because of that fire but thankfully no one got hurt ..

yeah .....yes...yeah am okay David i didn't get hurt ...Wait hold on ...its something"

she was on the phone with David as she entered her apartment from work .

she threw her bag on the couch

and walked over to the kitchen while explaining to him about the incident that happened at her work place .one of the offices caught fire but it was quickly extinguished before it could spread out .she poured a glass of water and drunk it

Walking back to the living room she wondered where Cyan was ,she would usually find her home since Cyan never worked .even though she didn't work, she helped out with the rentals the two would split the bills in half .Rose always told her that she would manage but cyan insisted on helping .she never wanted to live off her friend freely .

Rose noticed the paper on the coffee table had her name on it .she told David to hold on while she looked through it ."it a letter from Cyan...let me see what its for ...ill get back to you ".

she said before the phone call cut .

she read the letter ,Rose didn't know what to do she got up and went to check Cyan's bedroom but she was gone .her things were gone too .Rose felt sad that her friend left without even talking to her ,she never understood who Cyan was or what her life was like .she always thought that maybe she was able to find a home here .and that she would be able to settle down in this city but now she suddenly left .

She met Cyan on one of the nights she was coming home from work ,Her car got a flat tire and she had to stop in the middle of the highway at night.Rose called the mechanic to fix it but he took time to get there and before he did , three drunk guys showed up and started to harass her .She tried calling the police but her phone was snatched away by them .when one of the guys grabbed her and tried to forcefully kiss her , she screamed for help and that when Cyan showed up .And pointed a gun at them threatening them she would shoot if they didn't leave her alone ,the men didn't take her seriously until Cyan shot her gun in the air which made the men run away .Cyan offered rose her gun "here you need this more than i do "

she said but Rose refused saying she's never used a gun before and that she was scared of guns .

Cyan looked at her confused .

"what kind of a girl doesn't want a gun"

she said ,

she was about to leave when Rose asked if she could wait with her till they fixed her car and Cyan agreed .after an hour the mechanic arrived, helped her change her punctured tire.

Cyan didn't have a car, when they were done she wanted to walk away but Rose offered to drop her off to where ever she was going "let me drop you off since you saved me from those men , where are you going? ."She asked Cyan."to a hotel "Cyan answered ."hey why don't you stay with me tonight ,my apartment has a spare bedroom you could stay over for the night ".

Cyan refused but Rose managed to convince her and so she agreed.on there way in the car Rose wouldn't stop glancing at Cyan and the gun she had in her bag.of course Cyan noticed and said "am not a criminal its just for protection "

"too bad ...i was hoping you where "Rose responded which of course made Cyan laugh and the two laughed.

after they got to the apartment she showed Cyan her bedroom so she could settle in .Cyan offered to teach Rose defensive fighting skills to protect herself and she was exited to learn "there are a lot of men who think they can take advantage of girls just because they feel like it .

it helps to learn how to defend yourself".Cyan told her and Rose simply agreed .

after talking and chatting .

Rose doing the questioning and Cyan doing the answering , the two girls bonded .

That's how they became friends

and started sharing the apartment.

Cyan didn't talk much but after getting used to Rose and understanding her nature she too opened up a little.

Rose was heart broken and upset that her friend left, she tried calling her line but it wouldn't go through ,she tried again and again

She was about to call David when the door bell rang.Rose got up and walked to the door

after opening the door,the person that stood before her was Aidden ,she looked at him confused at his presence

Aidden knew were Rose lived.

David and him would drop her home sometimes if they went out .

But he never came here on his own .

Rose looked passed him to see if David was there but he was not.

"Aidden ...you ..you are here?"

she asked him .

"Hello Rose "

when Aidden knocked on the door he was hoping that Cyan would open it , hoping that he didn't miss her and that she was still here .

but after seeing Rose and the way she was looking at him , he saw how teary her eyes looked,

he felt his throat run dry .

he could feel that she was already gone .

but still he asked ."Am here to see Cyan ..can you get her for me "

Rose was even more confused , when she left with David yesterday ,he had assured her that Aidden would take care of Cyan and today the entire day she tried to reach her but she couldn't get through, she thought she would see her when she got back from work but now Aidden was here looking for her.

"you only met her yesterday ..why are you looking for her , what happened last night Aidden" her friend suddenly leaves and now he is here to looking for her , she wondered what occurred the moment they left .

'A lot occurred Rose '

he thought to himself

"i want to apologise over something's i said to her"he told her part of the truth .

"what did you say to her ??....was it the reason why she left ..tell me what happened between you two"She anxiously asked him .

what did this man say to Cyan , was it why she left so suddenly.She handed him the letter that she found

Aidden read through it and he did not give it back to her ,There was not any saying of were she would be going .

"Is it okay if i keep this " he asked for her permission and she nodded her head at him

"nothing serious happened Rose ..ill try to find her ..if i do not "

he looked at her" ..ill forever hate myself"

Aidden wanted to walk away when he stopped and looked at Rose ."Tell your boyfriend to stop investigating her ..he will only be wasting his time "he said before walking away ..

"tell your boyfriend to stop investigating her"

Rose repeated his words asking herself .

"David "she looked at Aidden who was leaving before closing the door and walked to get her phone ."David are you investigating Cyan"

she asked him as soon as he picked up.

she did not understand why he would be doing that Cyan was a nice girl to her .

"you talked to Aidden "

David simply asked .he was not expecting Rose to find out so soon , first it was Aidden and now Rose was yelling at him too.

"why would you do that...she is my friend

what made you decide to do that "

"listen Rose you don't know anything about that girl she is too shrewd and mysterious i just wanted to know were she came from and what her intentions were "

he said trying to convince her

"you shouldn't have done that, David not every single person on this planet is after you or anything .."

"Rose calm down "

"No David ...she's gone Cyan just left and she is probably never coming back "

"What do you mean she is gone .."

"my best friend is gone ..she left, i did not find her when i got home she only left a letter which Aidden took and- "

"Wait Aidden was there"

"yes he said he is going to find her ..and i really hope he does "

she did hope Aidden manages to find Cyan and bring her back Rose wanted to know why she left so suddenly .

"Rose if she ran away it means she is is probably running from something or she could be-"

"Enough David please ....do not do things just because you do not like her"

"Rose ....you cant simply trust people so easily , you never know what their true intentions are "

" if she had any bad intentions then why did she save me , she is just protective over me that's all "

"and am only protective over you Rose "

David said.

Rose was silent on the phone she knew that David was just protective over her and that she shouldn't trust people so easily , but she knew Cyan, and David was definitely wrong about her.

"Let me talk to Aidden, ill get back to you okay???""hhhmmm"she agreed and after that he hung up the call..David was on his way to the hospital when ,he received the call from Rose.

two people were now upset because of Cyan

He looked at his phone before he dialed another number and called .

Rose got up and went to her bedroom ,

she saw the dress laying on her bed .

she walked over and picked it up placing it neatly in the closet.

Aidden was driving around the city looking for Cyanhe checked a few bus stops around called in for help on his way ,he knew trying to find her

would be the most difficult thing to do .

Especially if she decided drive by road instead of taking major transportation.

Aidden decided to drive to the airport .

she said she would be leaving this place and going somewhere far away maybe she meant leaving the country. he got there he called the people in charge , the manager of course knew who he was he had the influence of his family.

so they attended to him immediately.

They were looking through the security cameras , they didn't have her photo for reference it was taking them a lot of time.

"sir can you describe the girl you are looking for " they asked him.

"She has beautiful rare eyes and beautiful dark long curly hair that looks straight..... sometimes

she is slim and slightly tall

and has beautiful skin ".

everyone:"-"

the staff looked at him like he was delusional.

"what "

he asked noticing their stares .

"sir the girl you described fits the description of thousands of girls that use this airport .

Aidden know they were wrong Cyan did not fit in anybody's he could spot her out in a crowed but he was terrible at describing her ,he was talking like a person in love with some fictional woman who doesn't exist .

He wanted to call Rose and ask her if she had any photos of Cyan but he stopped .

he suddenly remembered what Cyan told him .

Aidden didn't know if he could trust these people and give them information about Cyan so easily,

what if the vampires after her were among these guy ,

What if they found out that he had something to do with her and decided to kill him before he could even get a chance to see her again .

he decided.

"send me the images and flight destinations of anyone who fits the description i gave you from three hours ago till tomorrow " He said , he figured going through the files himself would be easier ,no one will see the face of the girl he is looking for .

When he left the airport he decided to park his car on the side of the road ,

he got out of his car and stood besides it .

he didn't know where else to look for Cyan

"you are also a witch , did you disappear into thin air or something,

or did you turn into a bird and flew away

Cyan."

He spoke to himself , he wished he had stopped her when she was saying goodbye to him ,

"i wonder were you are Cyan"

his phone rang and looked down he saw David's phone number .

he answered but didn't say a word into the phone .

"Did you find her"

David's voice was heard on the other end .

"no" Aidden answered

"maybe she went back to find the love of her life maybe she is comfortable in his arms , just come to the hospital okay you wont find a woman if she doesn't want to be found , girls can be stubborn right ".

David added , even though he wasn't serious , he knew Aidden was even more upset.
