Cyan leaned in as Aidden hugged her. she was not scared but he probably thought she was. deep down she somehow felt like the events of yesterday would repeat itself. growing up alone she never familiarised herself with any werewolves she could not recognise who that one was. the strange thing was that she could feel the spell was still locked around them so hoe did he break it. they where standing at the shores of the water. " Aidden ....i-"

she did not finish her sentence Aidden kissed her stopping her from talking. she wanted to ask him if she could buy some time. Cyan figured that maybe she should leave fight this battle alone and when its over she would return back to him, getting him involved would get him killed, she had a hard time against one wolf what if they were a lot of them. "no" he said as if he could read her thoughts. "don't even think of anything else, lets go home" he used the word home, like it was an easy thing, for Cyan that meant the world. they had a home together a home built from twigs and anytime the big bad wolf comes he will blow it away, would she let that?? never. He held her hand heading back into the forest .

hand in hand Aidden leading the way while she had her eyes locked on his back. How can he lead this journey like a shield? didn't he realise he is too fragile, a single arrow could make his body cold. still he chooses to shield her from everything. what did she ever do to deserve a man like him. he was too good to her it felt wrong to be by his side, she felt like a commoner while he a king ,

what if she was stopping him from ever having a normal life. being with a normal girl. if Cyan did not show up in his life would he be with another, She subconsciously squeezed his hand thinking about that. he stopped walking and looked back at her. "i have taken so much from you" Cyan spoke. " i only have danger to give you, don't love me like this Aidden, i will die if you are no longer here" Cyan spoke again.

He was silent listening to her, Aidden had always this type of patience when it came to her he paid attention to every detail, how she ate, how she smiled, how she reacted to things , and every word of hers , when she was stressed he was irrational. he already knew what was on her mind. feeling guilty because of what happened last night, he tilted his head to the side watching her face, he understood she underestimated him. did that offend him no, this only gave him a chance to surpass her expectations. Aidden could say everything and anything else to her but it would not erase the guilt and the uncertainty she was feeling he could see it in her eyes. he did not care as long as she listens he would say them.

"i face danger everywhere i go, when am driving i risk getting into an accident, when i am in the hospital i risk getting an infection, when am at home i could get electrocuted, i could fall off the stairs, slip in the bathroom. a snake can bite me and kill me even now, the air i breath can kill me it's contaminated with germs , Cyan i am a human waking up everyday i face danger. there is no certainly that can guarantee my safety once you leave, don't even think for a second that you bring danger to me, the only thing you give me is a reason to fight through all these, a reason i am happy, a reason i want to live, you are not a cause of bad things, you are not a curse. you are the love of my life. the only thing that would kill me would be if you left me. my love ..you are everything" he pulled her and hugged her again.

"stop worrying about that, I'm here". his main goal was to make sure she is alright, both physically and emotionally. Aidden kissed her hair wrapped his hands around her and looked ahead his eyes burning with anxious and rage . all this was putting him on the edge. what kind of monsters wouldn't let a girl live in peace, she never asked for more just freedom, if he could he would burn them all.

Cyan just let herself be embraced by him, these were the best things about being with Aidden she hoped she gave him as much comfort as he gave her."ouch" Cyan pulled away worriedly and looked at him when he hissed in pain"whats wrong" she asked scanning him head to toe.

"i feel something in my chest....i think its over here and its strong" he held onto his chest indicating he was in pain. "what happened" she got anxious Aidden took a few steps back.

"i ....i ....i think... its-" Cyan moved to him wanting to see what was wrong "what is it" she was starting to panic. she looked around trying to see what or who caused this

"i....i ....think..its ...no i am certain its .....love ...i am in love" the minute he said that he smiled at her,

Cyan felt like strangling him herself. "forget the vampires ill kill you myself" she walked passed him annoyed. how could he play with her like that. they where just talking about something serious and the next thing he is pulling strings. "hey..." he caught up with her and grabbed her hand making her look at him.

"since when are you a joker huuhhh??...you are not funny ..." she looked away from his face.

"oh really ...how come you are laughing"

"i am not laughing" she puffed her cheeks and in return he laughed.

"so you don't think am funny?" he whispered in her ears.

"nope" she answered.

"mmmh okay...i guess ill just have to ask another girl what she thinks."

Cyan looked at him and her eyes changed colour. she looked at him confused.

Aidden laughed at her reaction. how can she get jealous so easily. he pinched her nose and ruffled her hair. "Cyan am joking"

"i did not say anything ask any girl you want i don't care ." she turned around and started walking she did not realise the current state of her eye colour . Aidden only shook his head walking by her side.

"no ...if i did that ...a certain someone might get jealous and who knows how far her anger can take her."

"there is only one way to find out right" she responded.

he intertwined his fingers with hers and spoke.

"i am only funny to my Cyan consider that an honor...the mighty Aidden only tells his jokes to his beloved" that made her laugh. to Aidden it felt good seeing her laugh like that. he would be her personal comedian if he had to just to see that laugh. some minutes later they arrived at the place where they had left their car.

Cyan somehow felt strange she could tell someone had been there before. and then like a sharp knife pierced through her stomach. she felt a strange pain. this only meant one thing, Someone had broken into the boundary spell. the only reason why she felt pain was because her blood was connected to the spell. Cyan looked at Aidden checking if he felt the same thing too. and he did. for him it was not that severe. it only felt like a needle being pricked on his abdomen.

she could sense something was in the air. the forest went quite movements where not heard not even from the trees. Aidden and Cyan looked at each other both knowing very well that danger was lurking. she moved and stood in front of him protectively clenching her fists. Aidden pulled something out of his bag pack it was a gun. He was already prepared for this. Cyan did not know he had a gun on with him. it was good however. she closed her eyes and chanted a few words giving the bullets some poison that would injure whoever the enemy was. Aidden moved and faced the other direction both them having each other's backs. they where not ready for any fights today. and this only proved how far they where from their goal . they made a mistake thinking the enemy would wait a while before attacking Cyan again but they did not, while the two of them where busy enjoying their get away. the enemies where busy working. the wind blew lifting the leaves off the ground. soon something appeared in front of Cyan. no it was someone. A man dressed in black , he was as tall as Aidden but had longer dark hair. he had eyes burning as he looked back at her. Cyan immediately recognised his scent and his Aura. it was the same as the wolf she fought with yesterday. this man was the one who attacked Aidden last night. he looked angry at Aidden more than Cyan. was he after him and not her she wondered. "My mate" the man spoke, these words surprised Cyan and Aidden.

immediately he said that. Aidden pulled Cyan into his arms and held her tightly. he was not a werewolf but he knew exactly what that meant. he did not like the way this man looked at Cyan or the way he said those words, as if he was claiming her to be his. Aidden held Cyan declaring her as his in front of this man. he could tell this was the same man from last night.

the atmosphere became tense and heavy. danger rang everywhere this felt like a battle field and blood was going to be shed. Cyan let her monstrous side slowly envelope her she was ready to fight with everything in her. but why did he say "mate"?. did he think she was his mate or something and why was he here. "who are you " Aidden's commanding voice rang around them.

the man seemed more angry hearing Aidden's voice, he clenched his fists really hard as if suppressing his rage greatly.

Cyan could feel the tension between these two men, even though Aidden was human Cyan could still feel something in him ready to explode. she had never seen him lose his temper or became violent before. he was always in check now it looks like he was ready to unleash it all.

"my name is Luca and i am here for her"

Cyan subconsciously stepped closer to Aidden when she heard his words. her heart was beating loudly this is not the usual thing she feels when she is in battle. this feeling was new and strange.

"who sent you..." Aidden asked again. He was doing the talking for her, she did not mind. her head was in a mess right now.

"i was sent by no one, i am here because she is my mate"

the man spoke once more. he shifted his attention from Aidden to Cyan. and he changed, he seemed calmer when he looked at her. as if he had compassion for her "you don't remember me,? "

Cyan looked at Aidden and looked at the man calling himself Luca. "no" she finally spoke.

he shook his head as if in disbelief "i have been everywhere looking for you, you saved me in the woods when we where kids" he moved a step closer and Cyan moved back so did Aidden.

"you saved me from the vampires, and i brought you to my family but i couldn't keep you, i lost you, ever since i became of age i have been looking for you, i believe you are my mate and i am here to take you back to my pack as one of us now, i am the alpha now. no one will send you away come with me"

Cyan and Aidden looked at each other and Cyan remembered the boy now that he explained himself. she never thought she would see him again and now he is came to take her back to his pack this did not make sense. Aidden remembered she had told him about the boy she woods. hearing him speak of Cyan as his, made Aidden even more upset. he looked at her silver grey and he could see that look of hopelessness again which he did not like. in return he leaned in and kissed her lips lightly. he was doing that to calm her down but also to show this Luca guy who Cyan belonged too.

Luca felt his claws ready to sprout out of his hands the minute he saw another man kissing the girl he had been dreaming about since he was a child. this girl meant so much to him, he went through a lot just to find her, when he came across the information of her whereabouts he did not waste any time to come looking for her. he felt the barrier spell around breaking it was not an easy thing but the thought of her being in there made him withstand all the pain that came with that. once he was in he was exited to meet his long lost love only to find her in the arms of another man. who she fought so hard to protect. he could not believe she already belonged to another but once he realised the man was just a human. Luca wanted to fight for her. growing up he was always expected to lead his pack and every wolf needs his mate, he knew that his was her and her alone but now he wondered if he was a late. .

"am sorry ....you have me mistaken with someone else. i do remember you but i am not your mate", Cyan defended herself.

"i belong to him" she looked at Aidden and his eyes beamed with pride as he looked down on her, he loved her declaring herself as his.
