Chapter 2

"Wait, isn't he..." Tanya's voice faded into the background noise. I walked up to him, tilting my head up to meet his gaze. "Want to get out of here?" He looked down at me, and I realized he had striking eyes—deep, dark, slightly upturned at the corners, with a tiny beauty mark just beneath one eye. He remained silent for so long I thought he was going to reject me. Then, a slow smirk tugged at his lips. He threw his head back, draining his glass in one swallow. The liquid traveled down his throat, drawing my eyes to his shifting Adam's apple. He stood up, carrying a faint scent of alcohol and clean cologne. "Are you sure about me?" Dizzily, I nodded. "Yes." Suddenly, my feet left the ground. A warm, strong arm wrapped around my waist, lifting me effortlessly. My breath hitched. Tyler had never carried me like this; he always complained I was too heavy. I gripped the fabric of his shirt, pulling it down slightly and exposing his chest. My hands pressed against his firm skin automatically. He let out a low chuckle. "Don't rush." I barely remembered getting to the hotel. The room door clicked open, and the moment my feet touched the floor, he turned and pinned me against the solid wood. He was incredibly tall, his shadow completely enveloping me. He leaned down and captured my lips. My mind went blank as a fierce heat surged through my body. "Mmh..." He pulled back just an inch, his lips still brushing mine. Taking my hand, he guided my fingers down his chest, his voice dropping to a low rasp. "You seemed pretty eager at the bar. Keep going." He guided me downward. His hot breath brushed against my skin as I touched him. The heat was overwhelming. His lips and tongue traced a path down my neck, lingering on my collarbone as my clothes slid to the floor. "Is this... okay?" he muttered, pressing his body firmly against mine, a bead of sweat tracing down his forehead. A sharp jolt of electricity ran through me. Before I could answer, he claimed me like a predator, waves of intense sensation crashing over me. Just as my legs gave out, he caught me, lifting me to meet him. Clinging tightly to his waist, I murmured breathlessly, "I... I can't stand." He gasped softly, nipping my earlobe. "Then let's take this to the bed." The mattress creaked beneath us. "Don't hold back. Let me hear you. It sounds beautiful." The night dissolved into a blur of shared heat and abandon. Before I finally drifted into unconsciousness, only one thought crossed my mind: Tanya's connection has incredible stamina. When I woke up, sunlight was filtering through the cracks in the curtains. My entire body ached as if I'd been taken apart and put back together. Feeling the damp sheets beneath me, my face burned at the memory of last night. The alcohol had completely worn off, leaving me entirely sober. I had never experienced anything close to this with Tyler. Taking a deep breath, I carefully lifted his arm from my waist, slipped out of bed, and quietly put on my clothes. A wild night should end at dawn. I slipped out the door and ran. As my racing heart gradually slowed down, the lingering disgust from Tyler finally seemed to vanish. I'd treat it as a vivid dream. We'd never see each other again anyway.
