He was winning Indy over. He just needed to find a balance of persuasion and coercion. She no longer dodged his physical affection, so it was time to bring it home. Marrying Indy seemed to be the best way to keep her. Surprises. She loved surprises, and he’d planned the best one yet. He heard her key in the door, and he stood in the entryway to the dining room and waited. Nervousness assaulted every ounce of his being.
