Chapter 5: A Ride to Bliss

"Chill the f*ck out, Adri. It's me!" She removed the mask and pointed to her face. "Gosh! You almost gonna kill me!" She winced in frustration and looked at me.
I rolled my eyes. "I didn't know that it's you, who would even recognize you if you're wearing a mask. Do you think I'm a psychic?"
"Just stay back and relax, I'll take you somewhere," she said and set the seatbelt on.
She started driving and that's when I realized that the van a while ago was now gone. It was all planned huh? I think it was kind of exaggerated.
"Where did you get those goons? And what's with that stuff? You can just get me in what means you want so why did you bother to hire them?" I asked with annoyance.
She let out a frustrated growl. "If anyone sees me kidnapping you here, three families might clash together. You don't want to see Silvestre facing Fabiona and Woodsen Clans, right?" She explained before continuing to drive.
She's right, if those families become rivals, it will be bad, especially for the Fabiona's, my family. Even though Fabiona and Woodsen's family which is where Geib is bonds together, they can't still withstand the Silvestre's. They are out of every family's boundaries, their force is no joke.
Imagine, every lead alpha comes from their bloodline, their royal bloodline! They are legendary, especially when it comes to Alpha Damon.
Blood, money, and power. All of those are in their hands. Everyone respects and obeys this family's command, mostly the Alpha. See how powerful he is? How he is feared by many people? No one can oppose such a monster like him, or his family.
That's what this woman hates, she wants to be treated just like a normal person because the respect she receives is like praising a royal member of a family.
When I could no longer bear the silence, I didn't stop myself and broke it. "Where are we going?" I asked and checked both sides of the car's window.
The roads are not familiar to me, it's understandable because my family don't want to let me out of those tall gates they built. I haven't memorized the place where I live just because my parents are strict and really want me to stay behind our walls.
"Just keep your mouth closed and you'll know it later, obey me because I saved you," she commanded with an authoritative voice and I immediately followed that. Well, I have no choice, if I want to feed myself with information then get it from others even by any means.
Kierra is a little scary today, was it because she was just forced to ruin my day? Well, I don't want to annoy her anymore, I'll just wait to what will happen next after we arrive at the destination she's saying.
I opened my bag and saw my phone vibrating. I already knew who it was so I ignored it and opened the messages icon on my phone, only to see ninety-nine-plus messages in my conversation which were from my family obviously.
"Listen to what I'll say, Adri..." I looked in the mirror and saw her eyes staring directly at me. F*ck! I almost jumped out of the car! She's creepy!
"You are forbidden to go out after this day, it's because I don't want anyone to see you with us it will probably lead to commotion with people. Let them say you're kidnapped or killed by someone, the important thing here is that we won't be involved when they start investigating."
I silently nod as an answer. I know how much Kierra protects her family from issues, she doesn't want to stain their name from these things because it will affect their power and popularity to people.
Okay, I'll note that. Do not go anywhere and stay where Kierra commands me to go.
I looked outside again and saw that we were driving up a mountain. I don't know but my heart starts to pound this moment. Is Kierra going to dispose of me? Or am I gonna die today?
We stopped at the side of the mountain, this part is intentionally made for cars. Is this one of the tourist spots here?
She got out of the car and helped me get out of it. Then she also took out make-up in her bag and fixed my face. "What is this for?" I asked her. She didn't respond, but instead she sighed.
"I have to do this to make you at least fresh before you finally end your sh*tty life."
My eyes widened on her statement, is she really going to kill me? I thought we were best friends, she just saved me from my wedding then she'll kill me here? And for what reason?
After putting the make-up kit inside her bag, she grabbed my arm and started walking, but she stopped when I didn't move an inch. Hell, I'm scared of what's going to happen. She'll end my life!
"I'm not going to do anything bad to you!" She frustratedly stated and pulled me. "Think of this as my gift!" We started walking up to the top of the mountain. Well, I had a little difficulty in climbing this mountain because of my long wedding gown. Thankfully, I'm wearing shoes so I think I can do this.
I trust this woman beside me so I'll go with her, I know she won't do anything to me.
I looked at her and she's typing something on her phone while we keep on climbing. The wind is blowing in here because there are many trees, there are so many pine trees in here. It's not that hot even when the sun is out.
My feet stopped when Kierra paused. She looked at me seriously and held both of my hands. She smiled and started talking.
"I never thought that this day would come. You are finally free to fly wherever you want to go and I'm so happy that you finally made it outside of those tall walls that kept you inside the darkness."
What is she talking about? Is she telling me this because I'm going to heaven? I'm about to cry because of those words.
"Now, I want you to walk in your own straightly after I greet you goodbye and never go back, face your new life and new home," her eyes watered as she smiled. With that smile, my heart softened.
"And again, I congratulate you for successfully doing your mission. Be happy and free, Bessy. I say goodbye to you."
I didn't know what was happening and I was confused but tears started dripping from my eyes as she carefully moved my body to face the road that I will walk. Her soft hands caressed my skin softly as she pushed me lightly.
"Goodbye to you, Adrianna Elyse Fabiona and welcome to the family."
