CHAPTER 2;CLIFF HANGER

339 Words
High in the snowy peaks of Kazakhstan, Soap and Ghost infiltrated a Russian airbase. Their mission: recover a downed ACS module to prevent satellite hacks. "Stay frosty," Ghost radioed, his breath visible in the frigid air. They scaled cliffs, evading patrols, hearts racing. Inside the base, they downloaded the data, but alarms blared. A frantic escape ensued, snowmobiles roaring down the mountainside, bullets whizzing past. Back at base, Price reviewed the intel. "Shepherd's playing a dangerous game. We need to hit back hard." The invasion raged. Washington D.C. burned as Russian paratroopers descended. Sergeant Foley and Private James Ramirez fought street by street, defending the capital. "Ramirez! Secure that burger town!" Foley barked, referencing a fast-food joint turned stronghold. Meanwhile, Task Force 141 assaulted the Gulag, a notorious Russian prison, to rescue Prisoner 627 – Captain Price himself, captured years prior. Soap rappelled down the shower block, chaos erupting. "Price! We're getting you out!" Freed, Price rejoined the fight, his resolve unbreakable. In the Russian wilderness, the team launched a daring submarine assault. Nuclear missiles loomed, threatening global annihilation. "EMP inbound!" Roach yelled as they fought through submarine defenses. The blast crippled electronics across the Eastern Seaboard, turning the tide in America's favor. But betrayal struck again. General Shepherd, the architect of Task Force 141, turned on them. At Site Hotel Bravo, he ambushed Soap and Ghost, stealing the DSM containing proof of his manipulations. Ghost fell, his mask cracked. "Soap... get out..." Chapter 5: Loose Ends Wounded, Soap and Price pursued Shepherd to Afghanistan. In a dusty safehouse, they uncovered the truth: Shepherd orchestrated the war to become a hero, sacrificing millions. The chase led to a raging river. Price's knife found Shepherd's eye in a brutal hand-to-hand. "This is for Ghost," Price growled. As Nikolai extracted them, Soap clutched the DSM. "The world needs to know." Epilogue: Dust to Dust Makarov remained at large, but the invasion halted. Task Force 141, though scarred, stood vigilant. In the shadows, new threats brewed. The call of duty never ended
