Mated to a Witch

Chapter Three

I was scared witless at the sight of more than twenty wolves lunging at me. But nevertheless, I still fought. And I won. I flipped off, my claws digging into every wolf I came across as I sped in between them. I had no idea how it happened but it felt as if my surroundings magnified and I could see every of their attack clearly. Or shall I say, I could fathom it before it could reach me and of course, defend myself against it. I swung my fists around, fending off against tons of wolves and soon they were all down howling in pain. With few who didn't attack cowering in fear. Yeah, fear. It was heavily plastered on their faces. Well, I am also scared of myself.

"What is going on here?" we all turned to see a middle aged man standing a few feet from us. I saw his eyes glance around before they settled on me. Shock displayed on his face and he stood transfixed on the spot. He opened his mouth a few times but no words came out. Maybe, he was too shocked to speak.

He broke eye contact and ordered wolves "Unwind"

I stared at him gobsmacked wondering how he was able to command the wolves. He was staring at me and U wasn't very comfortable. I looked downwards at myself in confusion but what I saw made me gape in shock. I was all fur. White with a streak of gold on the arm. I glanced at my fingers and shrieked. Or, more like a howl. I covered my mouth with my palm in surprise with the way I sounded.

"Did you turn eighteen today?"

I whip my head towards the man and nodded. He smiled walking towards me and my eyes glinted with my fists clenched. He saw how defensive I was and stood a few feets away from me.

"Who are you, people?"

"We are the Moon Crescent Pack"

"Moon Crescent? What do you want from me?"

"Relax. We won't hurt you"

"Do you know why I look like this?"

"Yeah. You just got your wolf, that's why you are confused"

"Wolf? What do you mean? I'm human"

"No, you're not. In our world, we call all like you Neotides. It all sounds ridiculous, right? I'll explain later"

"Let's go"

I gazes at him with doubt but soon followed him anyway. It's not like I have somewhere else to go. He glanced at the wolves, sighing and we all marched as they followed behind

"Kiddo, what is your name?"

"Aiden. Aiden Declan"
