I finished reviewing my training manual at six o’clock. Since I need lots of caffeine today to keep me going, I thought of going to the nearby café Fritz showed me before.
It is a quaint, little coffee shop. I went in and was greeted by an elderly man with a broad smile. The café vibe is nice. Most of the customers are elderly. It looked like an old house that had been turned into a coffee shop. In the corner was an old bookshelf filled with books. On the other side is an old sofa set with a chessboard on the table in the middle.
Looks like I found myself a hidden gem, a quiet place I can go to when I want to be alone. All this combined plus coffee. I hope they have good coffee here.
I smiled back at the elderly man. “Hi!”
“Hello, young lady. You must be new here?” he greeted me back
