I returned to my room to pack my things. I hope there’s an escape route in this room that will transport me to my apartment. I’m so embarrassed right now. I wish I was a mermaid that could escape through these aquariums. I cannot look at Fritz’s face. How could I even be in a car with just him for thirty minutes? There was a knock on the door. I opened it, and it was Margareth. “Hi dear,” she greeted me warmly. “Hi, Marge! Come in. I’m almost done packing.” She stared at me and smiled. “Are you okay, hun? You look worried.” “Uh, yeah, I---I guess I’m okay.” She smiled at me gently. “No, you’re not. What’s troubling you? Tell me. Don’t worry, it will be our secret. The boys won’t know. I won’t even tell Harry.” I sat down and smiled shyly. “Sigh. I’m confused, Marge,” I admitted.
