Chapter 4

A week passed. The Black siblings' feud never ended and even got worse, if possible. I let my feelings dissipate as I prepared for classes again.

When all the students reached the hall, the dean announced that there would be two transfer students starting today. I narrowed my eyes at the pair standing on the stage. One was a brown-haired male, irritatingly hot like an Adonis and I knew instantly he would cause trouble. The other was a redhead female, also good-looking. She looked mischievous and I felt frustrated as I realized I wouldn't be able to get through to them as easily as others.

As all of us walked out of the hall, I found James and ranted to him about the newbies. He chuckled, "wow Alex, I didn't know you could be frustrated. What happened to no emotions?" I couldn't believe him, a situation was at hand and he was cracking stupid jokes. He would be the death of me, I thought, shaking my head.

"James, JAMES listen to me. We have to-"I stopped short as I realized he wasn't listening to me. "James Ethel Davidson if you don't focus your attention on me in 5 seconds I will castrate you." Finally, I had his attention.

"Sorry dude but have you seen the new girl? She's fine!"James said with a dazed look on his face.

"..." I was speechless. Realizing he wouldn't be of any help to me at the moment, I sighed and went to look for Ethan. Nicole approached me on the way and said "Alex I warn you not to get caught up with the new guys. I don't care if I'm a nerd but they are bad news, very bad news!" I scoffed at her, "Hm yeah they are bad news and that is exactly why I'm going to intrude." "You think everything is about you! That everyone involves you or tries to overthrow you! Look around, no one tries anything yet you go around glaring and making people cower. I mean it when I say they are bad news. You do not want to get caught up with them. Listen to me for once, Alex. You never take me seriously but you don't understand! You don't understand anything at all!!" Nicole screamed at me. Watching her outburst, I realized that was the first time I saw her burst into anger. She stormed off as I stood there gawking. "Well what are you staring at! Mind your own business." I snapped at everyone who was in the corridor and stomped off.

"Okayyy that was interesting, what happened to Nicole?" I thought to myself. Maybe she has some feud with the new guys? Hm time for more intel.

Ever since I got Ethan's information from Anne, I didn't suspect anything out of the ordinary for he was as I thought, going to bars and parties, owning a mansion left down by his parents, being literally the typical guy who flirts around just like James. Now it was time for me to find out about the newbies.

I went back home and checked my contacts. This time I needed someone who could get even more intel for me.

*Conversation*

Me: "Tony"

Him: "Hii who is this?"

Me: "It's Alex Specter."

Him: "Oh hii how can I help you Alex- uh Specter, Ms Specter?"

Me: "Alex is fine and I need some intel."

Him: "Ooh who caught your attention?"

Me: "Tony I want you to find everything you can on this two people. I will send their picture to you later. They're not what they seem."

Him: "Okayy got it! You want everything, absolutely everything?"

Me: "..."

Him: "Yeah okay I will send you everything on them anything else?"

Me: "No, thanks Toby."

Him: "It's Tonyyy"

Me: "Yeah that's what I said, thanks Tony."

Him: "Okk bye-bye Alex!"

*End of conversation*

I sighed, he was so cute and childish. He was only 11 years old but he was a genius, and could solve every code in the world. Very few people knew this as he pretended to be dumb and silly. He was actually better than most of my associates at getting information about anything and anyone. I only contacted him in emergencies or when I needed things immediately. Well, these... two students count as an emergency... right?

I happily walked down to Vale College and to my dorm. "Oh no! What in the world happened to Amber and why isn't she here? She is always in the dorm if not in her classes!" I panicked, just a bit, subtle small panic. No overwhelming emotions. Nope. I'm not that person. "If anything happened to her, I will destroy whoever did anything to her even if it's Ethan!" I seethed in anger, Amber was too innocent for most people here.
