For Reb though, his incredible shyness around girls was painful for him and resulted in a lot of teasing from his friends, then one day; a new family moved to town. They were the Murphy’s, a family of Irish decent who had made a couple of stops and a couple of attempts at settling in, after their arrival in Canada from Belfast. First in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where the father was employed by a small boat builder until he got a job offer from a Company in Toronto, Ont. an automotive firm. The father, Patrick who was an excellent and extremely creative, engineer and a brilliant planner and organizer, also tried his damndest to uphold the reputation of the Irish as the best drinkers in the World.
