There were other tales and rumours of how things were sometimes dealt with and scores settled by the Club that were certainly not common knowledge. No one in the Community, and even most in the Club or their followers, knew anything about that stuff, as it was never discussed. Guys like Dan and other Cops could only speculate as these things, were allegedly always handled by the crews, within the Clubs themselves and seldom, if ever, were brought to anyone’s attention, let alone, police attention. Other than occasionally, dealing with the aftermath, and having no witnesses or clear suspects, the investigations usually went nowhere.
But rumours are still, only rumours, and mostly, they remain that way but they do, quite often persist and for a Cop, it is like an itch they can’t scratch. Pe
