CHAPTER ELEVEN
LET THE LESSONS BEGIN
After he got out of Hospital, still recovering from the accident at the lake, and having had sufficient time to think about what the Chief had said, but with no opportunity to discuss it with him further, he was still running many different scenarios in his head. He never discussed any of it with Nancy as he felt it was something that he had to work out for himself.
He was off work for eight weeks, doing physiotherapy to strengthen his arms and legs. He hung out with Nancy and the kids a lot and played with the dog when he wasn’t doing light yard work.
