Something seemed completely off about this new councilmen. There was an unusual aura about this man and for the life of me I could not figure it out. I had tried to excuse myself from the group conversation to return to where my home used to reside but had kept being drawn back to Junie and the councilmen.
"Fae, your home was destroyed once you had taken Lou's hand in marriage since you wouldn't have had the need to come back here." Henric stated.
I shook my head at the statement, "That's part of the problem, I have yet to wed my mate and you took it upon yourselves to do this. I was kidnapped before the damn wedding."
"That's impossible, Javier said you two had wed already and mated." Val replied.
