I walked into the Reyes’ brother’s gym looking around nervously and uncomfortably.
My heart was pounding in my chest with fear but I knew I had to force myself to be brave and confront Kaden about my suspicions.
That’s the main reason I was here.
A voice in the back of my mind kept telling me this was dangerous - coming here on my own.
Even after Marshall’s warning and Scott saying the same thing, I was still here. Mostly because a huge part of me wanted to give Kaden a chance to explain himself first.
Perhaps that was the same part of me that didn’t want to let him go…
I walked up to the front desk and found the Kelly girl sitting there on a phone call.
Her eyes locked on me and immediate displeasure shone in them.
