“Mia!” Hayden yelled. “Mia! Mia! Mia!” I came rushing out of my room responding to Hayden’s frantic calls. “What? What’s wrong?” I asked in panic skidding to a stop in the living room My shoulder sagged when I saw Hayden sitting on the couch looking perfectly fine. I let out a breath. “I thought you were getting murdered or something.” He snickered. “And you think I would call you for help? You weigh less than that lamp, Mia.” He spoke pointing to the lamp that sat on the side table. I huffed as I walked up to him and whacked the back of his head lightly. He chuckled. “Your favourite show is on.” He explained with a shrug. “Oh!” I squealed in excitement jumping over the couch to sit beside him snuggling into the cushions.
