I let out a loud, infuriating groan as I looked around at the clothes spread across my bedroom floor. How is it that I had absolutely nothing nice in my closet? Not a single thing. Well, in my defence, I had spent more of my money shopping for food and necessities when I had lived with my dad seeing as to how he never bothered or cared if I ate. But now I was seeing just how severely lacking I was in terms of clothing. The only somewhat decent ‘date’ clothes I had were the ones I wore with Marshall. And Marshall’s idea of dates were more causal, bowling or ice cream. I didn’t even know if that would be appropriate with Kaden. I had been trying to get him to tell me where we would be going but he wouldn’t even give me a hint. It was a surprise apparently. I heard a knock at the door
