Realisation
After the call Melanie was left unease, was there any truth in the words of the maid? Why would she lie? She has been with the family since she was 16 years old, she knows what kind of people they are, so would she risk her life for a lie like that? But one thing was clear she would wait for her husband to come home and she would get her answers then. Although they had the falling out she was sure she could still count on his honesty and he would not dare lie to her. But the seconds became minutes and the minutes hours. It was not like him to be out for so long and not to call her to announce her and let her know if there was any problem. These couples of days have been a bit hard, with him sleeping in another bed and only because she was too blind to see what was happening. Af
