Daphne's POV I peeled my eyes open as gently as I could, the warm embrace of the duvet tugging me back to sleep. For a moment, I let myself lean into the alluring scent of getting a few more minutes of sleep. It wouldn't hurt, right? "Holy!" I jerked up immediately, hoping the action would shake out the extra sleep. As if that wasn't enough, I shook my head from side to side a couple of times until my gaze fell on the neon alarm clock on the bedside table, just next to my bed. "11:45 am," I said out loud, a small smile dangling on my lips. There was no use hurrying out of bed, so I let my head fall back on the soft pillow. I sighed as a thought crept its way into my mind. If I was still back at my pack, I would be in school by now, listening to either Mr. Rogers or Miss Nita droning
