Daphne's POV I pressed my palm tighter together, encasing the locket in the mini trap of my hand. I didn't know why I was doing but it just felt right and the tears that started off as a drop was now flowing rapidly streaking my cheeks with salty liquid as it cascaded down my face. I eventually peeled my palm open as I took out the golden chain, letting it dangle from my fingers. The heart locket at the both swung back and forth, and a memory I'd almost forgotten, replayed itself in my head. It had happened a good while ago, but I still remembered it clearly, even though I was little at the time.
