Chapter Eight

I WASN'T OBSESSED. I sure as hell wasn't. What I felt for Sophia wasn't an obsession any longer. My feelings for her were more intense than an obsession. It was something deeper, darker, and stronger. It was something crazy and even if it didn't have a real name, I intended to leave it like that. I intended to leave it nameless because I didn't care...as long as I could still feel it. Sophia, in her own innocent way, had whirled herself into my mind, playing with my reasoning, making me think of nothing but her, making me place her priorities above others as well as mine, making me do things I never imagined I, myself would do. But then, I had no issues with that at all. I didn’t. I didn't, and I still couldn't because I wanted to be submissive to her; to her innocence and her little body. I sat on my chair behind my study desk, staring at the photograph on the lock screen of my phone. If it wasn't Sophia, who else would it be? She looked stunning in that photograph, in that dress she wore to her fiancé's company anniversary. The dress I had chosen and sent for her in place of Matteo's. The blue dress complimented her look. Even if I didn't completely like the new colour of her eyes, the dress made those blue irises stand out. It hugged her perfect body like a second skin on each curve she had, not even hiding the dip of her waist. Also, the dress didn't fail to commend her straight, black, shoulder length hair. Seeing her like that only fuelled my deep obsession for her. When she had walked into the hall, heads whipped towards her direction, but she had been too oblivious to it. She might have changed herself physically, but that innocence was still in her. The innocence only I could see and wish to bring out. It burned me when I saw her walking towards her fiancé. I didn't want to see them together. Seeing them together that morning in the restaurant, having a stupid breakfast date had done enough to soil my mood. I was fully aware of the fact that no matter what, Sophia’s upbringing would never allow her to snap at a common waitress, and so, I used one for my selfish plans. In the end, I killed two birds with one stone. I didn't only stop her from going to her fiancé, but I also made her go to the bathroom where only my eyes could feed themselves on her. My insanity was plunging at me then. My whole being told me to just take her away there and then. But I had other plans. I had plans to f**k with her mind the way she had done to me. She had to think about me constantly just like I did and maybe in the process, she'd start yearning for me. For my presence. Not blinking my eyes at my phone screen for a second, I smiled. I smiled as if Sophia could see the smile. "f**k, amore mio." {"My love"} I dropped my phone on my desk and stared at the small photo frame of Sophia on the desk, then picked it up. The photo had been taken by me two years ago, when she was doing something on my laptop. There had been a pencil placed between her teeth as she stared at the laptop screen with a confused frown on her face. Seeing her like that, that day made me imagine my c**k between her lips instead of that pencil. I used the tip of my fingers and caressed her face in the photograph. “I can't wait to bring you where you belong, amore mio. I'm losing patience," {"My love"} I dropped the photograph and stood up, walking towards the calendar I had on the wall. I used a pencil to strike out the date, and my smile widened. Just a week more. Just a week more, and Sophia would be here with me. We would have our own little family without any disturbance. Flinging the pencil across the room, I walked out of my study, heading for my room. As I walked down the hallway, my imaginations began. My mind began to conjure up images of me and Sophia. And a little girl in our arms. Our baby. Our daughter. ♡♡♡ It was a garden. Seated in the garden with a months old little boy on her lap as she rocked him was Sophia. At the same time, she was telling something to a little girl of about five years. "...and do you know who is going to save his two princesses from the bad people?" "No, Mama, "I heard the little girl say to Sophia as she shook her head. "The person that would save his two princesses from the bad people is a giant man. He's going to be there with his little Prince to save his princesses, "Sophia replied. The girl giggled. “Daddy is the giant man. My baby brother is the prince, and I am the princess," That was when I whisked the girl into my arms with a big smile on my face, throwing her into the air as I caught her back in my arms. "Yes, darling. You are my princess, and I'll always save you from the bad guys," I heard Sophia snort from the ground. "It's okay. My little prince will save me from the bad guys also. Right, baby?" The girl in my arms and I looked down and found Sophia smiling at the little boy as he played with her fingers. The girl in my arms giggled. "Mama is jealous!” Once she said that, we both burst into a fit of laughter. Sophia looked up at us, her face flushed from embarrassment, and her lips formed into a cute pout. "Who told you so?” And then, her attention was back to the boy. "I'm not jealous" She huffed, murmuring. “I have my prince to save me," "We both know you're jealous, amore mio, "I said to her. "Yes, mama" The girl said. "You can ask, and Daddy will save you too. Ambrose is too small to save you from the bad guys, "Her small, flail hands went to my arms and she lightly squeezed my muscles. "Look. Daddy is way more bigger and stronger than him," Sophia's face flushed harder and she stood up with a loud huff, adjusted the boy in her arms and then, she was walking back towards the main house, leaving me and the girl behind. "Oops" I smiled at the girl in my arms. "Seems like we made your Mama upset” The girl stared at me with her innocent eyes. "Let's go and apologise to mama. I don't want her to be upset with me. She won't talk to me!” And then, she was in tears. "Fu-," I didn't finish saying what I had to say because Sophia's voice was interrupting me from where she was. "Don't curse anywhere near my kids!," I chuckled and wiped the little girl's tears before pecking her cheeks, forehead and eyes. "Mama won't be upset for too long. Why don't we go and apologise then?" She nodded. Soon, we were closely behind Sophia who was clearly ignoring us as she walked into the little boy's nursery. “Mama, daddy and I are sorry” The girl pouted. "We didn't mean to make you upset or jea-," Before she could say the remaining words, I placed my palm on her mouth and shook my head, whispering to her. "Don't say anything related to jealousy, princess. It would make her more upset," The girl nodded. "Mama, we're sorry," Sophia ignored us and placed the already sleeping boy in his cot. When she was sure he was comfortable, she glared as us both and walked out of the nursery while we followed her. "Princess, go to your room and play, "I dropped the girl. "I know how to make your Mama happy," "Okay, "She pecked my cheek with a grin and ran off before I could reciprocate the action. I smirked as I followed Sophia to our room. She couldn't be upset about something like that. "Amore mio, "I called once I entered the room. She ignored me. I smiled and in long strides, I had her in my arms. She looked up at me with a pout and a blush. "Let me go," "You jealous woman, "I teased and placed a peck on her lips. "I'm not jealous," "Oh yes, you are, "I pecked her nose. "I love you amore mio," Her pout was replaced with a radiant smile enough to make my heart flutter and then, her arms were around my neck as she stared at me again. "I don't love you, "She hit my chest and moved away from me. Immediately, I recovered from the shock and gripped her waist, laying her on the bed. Before she could stand up, I was already above her. "I love you," She giggled, her hands on my chest. “I know, old man," My eyes widened in shock. "Did you just call me old man?" She nodded with a giggle again and took my moment of shock to push me away. "Yep. You're an old man, "She got up from the bed. "I'm only thirty nine, amore mio, "I sat down on the bed as I began to tug off my tie. "And so?” She smiled, not turning to face me as she arranged the things on the dressing mirror. “You’re still an old man," I stood up and wrapped my arms around her. "You still love this old man," She laughed. "I know," "And this old man loves you, "I trailed my lips on her cheek, feeling her slightly shiver. "Never ever forget that," Her hands fell on my arms that were around her waist. "I love you, Chase, "She stared into my eyes through the mirror. "I love you," I pecked her cheeks. "I love you too, "I twirled her around so she would face me. Before she could say anything, I captured her lips in a kiss. Her hands involuntarily went to my neck and she tugged on my hair, pulling my head closer to her as she returned the kiss in a fervours manner. My hands went to her ass and I gave it a squeeze, earning a moan from her. Opening my arms below both of her butt, she jumped and wrapped her legs around my torso. Just when my hands went to the zipper of her dress, an adorable little voice came from outside the door. "Daddy, is Mama still upset?" ♡♡♡ My eyes opened and a lazy smile appeared on my lips once I realised I just had a dream. A dream where we were all happy with our two kids. A chuckle left my lips as my eyes fell on Sophia's photograph in the small photo frame on the bedside table. I picked it up and caressed her face. "Soon, amore mio, "I said. "Soon our dreams will come true," {"My love"} I brought the photograph closer and pecked her face, before hugging it to my chest. "I love you."
