Farrell's POV
The messenger just told me that the cremation process had started for Colton. And I just nodded. He wasn't my target but a collateral damage. I stand before my tent, staring at the silver gates that seem to appear a little farther than usual.
I notice Sebastian standing beside me and I just nod at his presence. It totally slipped my mind that his birthday is soon arriving as well. I hope we can get back to The Nightfall Pack in time for his first shift.
"Why did you do that?" Sebastian asks me and I raise my eyebrow at him, even though I know what question he is asking me about.
"Her warrior. That move was unnecessary," he says and I nod.
