“Tony,” Lana whispered into his ear in the middle of the night. He breathed in her scent, eyes fluttering open, enjoying her nearness. No matter how long they were together, everything about her was still thrilling. But then his eyes widened as he sensed her anxiety. “I think…I think we need to go to the clinic,” she squeaked out, fear reflected in her eyes. Tony was up in a flash, flailing around like a madman as Lana gingerly slipped on her slippers and began to get ready. Tony ran by her, cursing and grabbing her overnight bag as he ran down the stairs, telling her to hurry up. Lana rolled her eyes. Trust Tony to start freaking out immediately. She went to the bathroom and breathed a sigh of relief that she had had the forethought to shave the day before. It might be a vain though
