When Tony made it to Brad’s school, he had to remind himself that Brad was still a 13-year-old eighth grader right now and had not realized who his mate was. Tony couldn’t help but curse internally when his eyes fell upon Brad with his stupid friends laughing as they pointed to what Tony realized was a younger version of Melanie. She seemed to have tripped and lost her footing. Her black rimmed glasses were clutched in her hands as she bent to pick up the books that were strewn across the floor.
