Thoughts can be overbearing for how they seem to take over you                                 When the answer you were looking for was right in front of you the whole time                                 But as for the challenges we have to go through                                 All I can say for that is, get ready for the climb I was honestly out of my mind most of the first class even though I was taking the notes, none of the explanation was going through my head and that small verse that Evangeline read to me this morning before class. What is Ragnarok? And also Stairs in the North? What the f**k was all of this coming from? But still, I had to solve all of this before tomorrow so I better hurry I guess. But nothing was coming into my head at the moment. Alright then, I will just need to think about later because now I can be slipping up on my own work. So I regained my focus to the class ahead and just listened. Then in the next class, I was reunited with Nick and we greeted each other before seating down next to each other. He then proceeded to tell me that this morning he was called in my coach and that he would be was asked to rejoin the team and that apparently Tayler convinced the coach that he was out of line a bit and that it wasn't entirely Nick's fault. Wow, I am just glad that things are sorted out for him right now because I didn't want him to feel like he completely lost him meaning and goal in life. So yea from there came the suspicion; "But I think Tayler is up to something though," Tayler said to me as he opened his notebook. "What makes you say that?" I asked wanting to know the reason why he felt that, even though I already know the reason. "Well first off he tried to get me to kick off the team in the first place. But now all of a sudden he convinced the coach to let me rejoin the team. Something is not right, and I am highly suspicious at the moment." he said to me. "Maybe because he had a change of heart? And just decided to just be a good person after all?" I said trying to make it sound like Tayler became a good person overnight. "Benji are we talking about the same Tayler here? My archnemesis? He has hated me since kindergarten when I won more goals than him in peewee football." he said to me. Dammit, why did they had to have a history? In the end, I just shrugged and we went back to getting ready for class. Then during class, we were doing our own work when Nick poked me and asked; "Wanna go watch a movie this weekend?" he asked me. "But don't you have football practice this weekend?" I asked him. "Yea, but we can go after. Thor Ragnarok is showing in theaters, also we haven't hung out with just the both of us so I think we should," he said to me. And when I heard the word Ragnarok the wheels in my head started turning and I immediately knew what I was going to be doing during lunch after class today. But with all of these thoughts, I just replied with a yes and he smiled and said that he would reserve some good seats. After class, I told Nick that I wouldn't be joining him and the rest of my friends for lunch today because I had some extra studying to do today. He just nodded and reminded me to eat and that he will see me in Chemistry. I said goodbye and headed to the library. In the library, I quickly made my way towards one of the computers on the far end of the entire area and looked up Ragnarok. And as I was reading up about Ragnarok someone from behind me all of a sudden said; "Finally! You took too long." resulting in me almost hitting in head with the computer screen ahead. "Can you please stop teleporting and scaring the s**t out of me!" I said in a loud whisper since I was in the library. "Sorry, it is just that this place is so boring overall and I started exploring since I got tired of waiting," she said to me. "Well, how did you get?" I asked her since I was in class for about at least 3 hours. "Not far just the ground floor and I saw you talking to some cute guy before coming up here so I just followed you," she said to me. Wait did she just called Nick cute? "Ahh okay, but a question. So can anyone see you like I am able to right now?" I asked her. "Nope, only you can see me. Plus I am not entirely sure if you know but I am technically not alive," she said to me. Huh? "What you mean I can touch you though," I said to her as I touched her hand with my finger. "I am not a ghost silly. I am just not alive on Earth but I am alive in Avelon. It's complicated so just don't think too much about it." she said before waving her hands in the air to signal me to move on to another topic. "Alright so I found out something about Ragnarok right now so according to the internet, it is apparently a war that happened in Norse mythology where a bunch of gods basically had a showdown and this was a cause of a lot of natural disasters. But I still don't get how this pertains to anything about me since this is just  a story." I said to Evangeline. "No, it actually makes a lot of sense," Evangeline said to me. I was still confused. "How does anything make sense. This is just a story." I said to her. Yea, that is what they want you to believe. But there is actually more to the story than what it is told." she explained to me. "So basically Ragnarok did happen and right now what we heard during our huge coven meeting is that there is a huge war weighing in and we need to stop it," she explained to me. Ughh, I still have so much to find out. Maybe going with the flow wasn't the best way to go.
