Carol’s POV
“I never wanted to give you away, Carol,” King Bennet began to explain. “I don’t know how much you know about yourself, or your ancestries, but you are far more special than you even realize.”
“I know enough,” I confessed. “I know that I was gifted by three priestesses.”
King Bennet looked surprised that I knew this information already, but he nodded, confirming that what I was told was the truth.
“There are 3 main covens. They are the strongest Covens in the world and it’s where the smaller covens around the world stem from. Every witch has ancestorial ties with one of the three Covens. Typically, girls have their mother’s genes and boys have their father’s genes. That’s the reason you have wolf blood, but no wolf. Your mother wasn’t a wolf.”
I nodded, understanding.
