Damon opened his eyes with a start, his heart was beating erratically and his throat was hurting.
"What happened?"
He asked himself as he looked around to see where he was. The scenery of his environment was greatly different from the one he last remembered. At first he was in his room accepting the hidden quest that had miraculously appeared and now he was in some sort of large and hollow lair coated with mysterious dark soil and molten magma.
It was incredibly hot and he was drenched in sweat. Now that he thought about it he wasn't wearing his usual shorts and dark shirt instead he was wearing a dark armour set and a large battle axe was stuck in the dark earth next to him.
Damon sighed, he couldn't understand what had happened let alone fathom the cause for what had happened, just as he was about to fall on his knees he heard a beeping sound that seemed to have come from around him. Damon turned around swiftly but he didn't see anything, all he could see were rocks and tunnels and more rocks including more tunnels and surprisingly a strange and ernomous black orb surrounded by clear blue sky and clouds.

Damon heard a soft and calm voice say as an holographic screen came alive before his very eyes. Damon blinked once and then blinked again to register the fact that what he was seeing was real, he even pinched himself just to feel that sting he had always felt when he was but a boy.

"One final adventure.."
Damon says as he feels the world sink into his mind, he could remember what had happened before appearing here, he had finished playing the game Dragon Dynamics and had defeated the final boss with the help of his party members. They had logged out of the games server and that was when the notification popped up.
"What has happened to me? Am I dead? Where exactly am I?"
Damon asks no one in particular, if he was to tell himself the truth his questions were directed towards the holographic screen that had appeared before him without warning. He had read about such things in the mangas, novels and animes he had binged watched and read, there was a common term for such events like the one he had found himself caught up in. It was called.... Reincarnation.
Damon scratched his head in frustration with all his fingers.
"Could it be that I really been reincarnated? And moreover what is going to become of me?"
The holographic screen before Damon disappeared and was replaced by another which Damon didn't hesitate to read.

"Since I am logged into Dragon Dynamics does this mean I can also log out of the game whenever I like?"
Damon asks with curiosity laced in his voice, to be an adventurer and a gammer with unrivaled privileges just like this, this was truly a miracle. The holographic screen disappeared and was replaced by another once again.

Damon noded his head in understanding, it was all begining to make sense. He now had a system and if he remembered correctly the bloodline of the elder dragon 'Thorne'. The final boss of Dragon Dynamics.
"About the bloodline you rewarded me, how do I make use of it? And most importantly how do I get out of this lair?"

The systems words squashed Damon's excitement like a shoe would squash a bug, what did it mean die a painful death? He was a legendary warrior using a legendary armour set and a legendary axe, he was the party leader of the highest ranking party in Dragon Dynamics what did the system mean by die a painful death?.

Damon stared at the system interface speechless, his level had been reset and he wasn't even able to equip his legendary dark armour set and battle axe....
"Wait a minute"
Damon mutters as begins to think, if his armour wasn't equipped why was he still wearing it ? As soon as Damon thought about it his dark armour set disappeared alongside his great battle axe leaving him completely naked.
"What the hell!"
Damon screams as he covers himself with his hands, the system had unequipped his dark armour set without warning, leaving him naked and completely vulnerable to prying eyes. But at the moment he was safe, there were no living beings staring at his nudity.
Damon straightened his posture and cleared his throat, since there was nobody here he might as well take his time and analyze his current predicament. Just as Damon was about to relax he heard the distant flapping of wings from above, he raised his head only to see a majestic yet terrifying sight. Right above him covering the dark orb of a moon and the blue sky was a large white scaled dragon.
Damon gulped as he stared at the creature above him.
