Night falls over Klyndur, and the war on this planet of werewolves has reached its climax. The conflict, brutal and bloody, has divided the Lycan races, pitting the powerful Xebir Alphas, Lycans who can transform fully into wolves, against the Sintur Betas and the underprivileged Omegas.
In the midst of devastation, an Omega named Lyllandil clings to hope of escaping her nightmare life. Abused by her Alpha husband, Lyllandil has decided to escape with her young daughter, Oxiry, convinced that on that young planet in the Milky Way known as Earth, they would find a better future. However, their escape is marked by chaos and imminent danger.
As she waits in the shadows, being one of the last in line to board the last ship, her heart pounding, Oxiry sleeping in her arms, the army of Xebirs approaches with the clear order from their king, Kudur: Kill them all. Lyllandil knows time is running out and that the last ship to Earth is about to depart, and she won't make it aboard.
With tears in her eyes and in a desperate act of love and sacrifice, Lyllandil takes her necklace, a relic from her Omega family passed down through generations, and places it around the neck of her little Oxiry. Without a second thought, the mother propels her daughter towards the closing doors of the ship, and the child is caught by one of the last people to board. However, Lyllandil, stripped of hope and light, can no longer join her daughter in that new life she had planned on Earth.
The howl of one of the Xebir Alphas, an impressive wolf with golden fur, becomes deafening as it lunges toward her, and everything plunges into darkness.
At that moment, Lyllandil's life fades amid the war, and the destiny of Oxiry becomes intertwined with those who have rescued her, hoping to find a better future on Earth, disguising themselves as mere humans.
