Pagasus Finding

Chapter 5

“Freedom”. We all shout. This is the first time in weeks there is laughter and smiles. As we get closer to different pegasus areas the group slowly gets smaller and even those who were trained went home. JM decides to come with me to the palace. As we land I ask him

“Are you going to go back to the mountains?” He just shrugs. So I knock on the door. The queen is the one who answers the door.

“Cloud”. She squeals. “Come in. I thought I would never see you again”. She exclamed . As her gaze shifted to the other pegasus she gave a knowing sort of smile and said, “who is this handsome young pegasus”.

“M-o-m”. I say blushing, but JM just laughs.

“I'm JM”. He answers. “You must be Cloud's mother”.

“Oh please call me Margot.”

As we are walking in we tell Margot about what happened and how we meet. “That is quite an interesting story”. Margot says laughing a little. “Your father will be so glad to see you home again Cloud”. I smile and look at JM who is also smiling. We sit down as my mom or Margot as she wants to be called goes to find my father. “Your mom is so cool”. JM tells me.

“Thanks.” As I think more about how right he is I realize that I wish I could of lived with her all these year. Just as Margot comes back he looks at me and smiles.

“Well it's true”. He answers back.

When Margot returns with father he comes running to me and gives me a gigantic hug.

“I've missed you so much”. He tells me.

“Me too”! I tell him.

“So are you going to introduce me to this charming young pegasus”. He asks me.

“Mom dad this is JM he was one of the pegasus me and Rose rescued”. It was then I realized I didn't know where Rose was. I jump up and fly out of the palace hoping she didn't get trapped again. I hear wing beats behind me and glance over its JM. I am looking at the ground when I bump it to something. I look up and. “Rose”. I Shout. “I am so glad to see you”.

“Me too, I looked down for one moment at the waterfall and when I looked up you were gone”. She tells me.

“Come back with me to the palace.

“You can be like a little sister”. I tell her.

“Really?” she says as her eyes light up.

“Yep”. I replie. And together we head back the palace. When we arrive it is getting dark.

“Dinner is ready for all of you”. Margot says eyes falling on Rose. “Rosalina? Is it really you”. Rose doesn't answer just backs away from the queen and goes behind me.

“Mom how do you know her name?” I asked. “She is my daughter, we had a fight and I told her I didn't want her but I didn't mean it. My mother replies. Before I can say anything Rose speaks up.

“Is that true”? Rose asked. “Do you really still want me?”

“Of course.” Mom replied. I could hardly believe my ears Rose was really my sister, there was no we could adapt her into the family, she was already part of the family. “Let's go eat dinner”. My father says bringing us back into the moment.

“Good idea”. The rest of us replied, including JM.

“The dinner is delicious”. I tell my parents. “We're glad you enjoy it.” Both my parents reply. After dinner we tell stories of what we did while we were parted. After all the stories were done we went to bed. I woke up the next morning with a jolt, thinking I overslept but remember that I no longer live with the protectors. I lay back down for a little while longer when smell a smell.

“Breakfast”. I think to myself. I fly to the kitchen to see what's cooking when I see a fire.

I am about to call the fire department when my mom walks in. “ Whoops I left the pies cooking too long.” Mom says flying towards the fire extinguisher and putting out the flames. The rest of the family comes into the kitchen a few moments later. Awhile later JM told me that he would be leaving to find his family since they most likely think he is dead. Years later our family's met up and we (JM and Cloud) got married. JM wore a black necktie while Cloud wore a beautiful white vail. When JM saw it his jaw practically fell off. As the wedding official announced them as husband and wife the crowd went wild with cheers and applause. From that day forward JM and Cloud lived a happy life and never heard from Thundercloud again.
