My eyes fluttered open as I slowly regain my consciousness. The loud sound of crashing water filled my ears. Where am I? I lifted my blurry eyes to look around.
It looks like I’m in a big cave and that seemed to be beneath a waterfall because I can see water cascading roughly over the cave’s entrance. It’s already morning based on the sunlight that comes from outside.
How did I end up here? I tried to recollect everything that had happened last night.
The last thing I can remember is that I fell into a strong pair of arms but nothing comes after that. I tried to think harder but my mind really came up with nothing.
I was about to stand up when I realized that I was actually sleeping in the arms of someone. That’s why I felt so warm and comfortable.
