As the party got into full swing, Lycaon and I worked the room, smiling, laughing and conversing with the guests. The effort that everyone put in to have a good time was not wasted, each person in this party wanted to be here and make the most of it. As promised, Luke Casey took to the stage backed up by a nine piece band, to my surprise he was great singer. It was a mixture of jazz and swing, it spread infectious cheer over the dance floor, heaving with bodies. ‘I can’t resist!’ I jumped up and down, pushing my way into the thick of the crowd.
