I hear the loud voice of my alarm to wake up I turn around to stop the alarm. I open my eyes while rubbing them. Today is my first day of school here so I need to get up early. I quickly get into the washroom and take a bath.

I hear voices from the kitchen while getting down from stairs. My mom was preparing breakfast while my dad is reading the newspaper on the dining table. We shift here one week ago only because of dad business. I was always a shy person so there is no one is my back town going to miss me much neither do I feel to stay there. I was excited but also scared too. I am already 16 years old but because of my parents I never able to date anyone but that was not a case actually. I am a lesbian but my parents are against this homosexuality strictly.

My mom smile at me when she senses my presence in the kitchen.

“Good morning sweetheart”, my mom greeted me

“Good morning mom & dad,” I said

“Morning dear,” my dad said

Well, he is always like this not much expressive. He gives me a little smile and starts reading his newspaper again. My mom serves our breakfast and I finish quickly.

So it’s your first day in school are you excited about it? My mom said while giving me a smile

Yes, I’m but also scared because I don’t know anyone here.

Don’t worry about it you will make new friends there but your priorities are studies my mom said

I know mom it’s ok I will study hard here too.

That’s my child and also you pack everything for your school? My mom asked me

Of course, well my leaving now for school so my mom.

See I told you he is not expressive neither talks much to as he totally workaholic and so angry man so I try to avoid my dad as much as I can.

I leave my house while grabbing my school bag and car keys to get going to school. I start my car to leave for the school. Once I reach where I park my car and take a deep breath before leaving my car and enter my new school.
