You having me is enough

“Come and listen.” Alexander sat on the single sofa beside him, elegantly crossing his legs, looking relaxed. Victoria bit her lip, blushing as she spoke, “First, you can’t touch me without my permission!” Sleeping with strangers only happens in situations where you’re being manipulated, right? Otherwise, it’s just too awkward… Alexander nodded, considering it a minor issue. He would make sure she consents. “Second, no bringing random women to where we live!” Another nod from him. There won’t be any random women around. “Third, in public, we act like we don’t know each other.” The man continued to nod. There wasn’t a timeframe mentioned for points 1 and 3, right? “Now, my conditions: a low-key marriage. I don’t like chaotic lifestyles and people.” “Deal!” Once Victoria changed into the clothes Alexander had prepared for her, he took her straight to the affluent villa area of La Mountain Estate. As they entered, the aroma of dinner filled the air, and a servant emerged from the kitchen. “Young master, dinner will be ready soon. Miss, your room is the middle one on the right side of the second floor; it’s all set up for you.” The servant had been with the Smith family for over a decade. Since Alexander came to the capital for business, he wouldn’t be back for a short while, so Mr. Smith sent her over from Country C specifically to take care of Alex. She had received a call from Alexander in the morning, asking her to prepare a room. “Thank you, you’ve been very helpful.” Victoria’s complexion was still slightly pale, and the servant couldn’t help but feel sorry for her, wanting to quickly prepare something delicious for her. “Not a problem, not a problem. Miss, go and have a look; remember to come down for dinner later.” Such a good child, quite compatible with the young master. Alexander went upstairs first, and Victoria hurriedly followed behind. As they reached a room’s doorway, Alexander stopped and opened the door. “This is your room for now, but this villa is temporary. Villa 8 at Pearl Spring is almost finished with renovations; we’ll move there then.” …Villa 8 at Pearl Spring? That complex with eight villas in total? She had heard about it before; it was even more upscale than their family’s villa and the villas in La Mountain Estate. It was said to be built by a mysterious investor, costing hundreds of billions, each villa spanning over a thousand square meters, not including the gardens, swimming pools, and so on… Even though Victoria’s previous life was quite wealthy, compared to Alex now, she was still lacking in many ways! The 80-square-meter room had white wool carpeting on the floor, off-white wallpaper with patterns on the walls, and a 3-meter-wide double bed with pink bedding placed in the center. The dressing table, wardrobe, computer desk, and single sofa were all in the same off-white color. To the right of the small living room was the bathroom, decorated in light brown tones. A light brown waterproof curtain hung over the bathtub, and outside, the bathtub had light brown shell-shaped tiles. In the middle of the bathroom, surrounded by four columns, was a light brown waterproof curtain enclosing the bathtub. To the left were shelves holding several towels, while on the right were the faucet and high-end bathing products. Exiting the bathroom, similar to the small living room, was a 20-square-meter balcony, simply furnished with two white reclining sofas and a small round table in the same color scheme. The entire room gave off a feeling of elegance and luxury, making Victoria’s eyes widen in amazement. “It feels refreshing and pure, even though my previous room was luxurious, there’s a difference with this one. Well, it’s not bad at all. Victoria feels quite tactful.” “Let’s make do with this place for now, we’ll move to the other side soon,” Alex said, watching Victoria comfortably flop onto the bed, his gaze profound. “That’s fine, after all, I have nothing now, right?” she muttered to herself, speaking to both Alexander and herself. He wasted no time and approached her, the sudden weight startling her. Their bodies pressed tightly together, their faces less than a centimeter apart. “From now on, you have me, and that’s enough,” his sensuous and low voice intoxicated her, her heart pounding, her hands against his sturdy chest, momentarily forgetting to resist. His deep, mysterious eyes seemed bottomless, alluring, drawing her in as if into a whirlpool. He lowered his head, and she didn’t evade, just closed her eyes, submissive like a kitten. Her scent intoxicated him. After a while, with a thud, Alexander was dumbfounded as the blushing Victoria pushed him away, jumping off the bed herself. Victoria, embarrassed, couldn’t believe she dared to pat his head! “You foolish woman! You’ll regret this!” Alexander, who holds grudges, said, his face cold as he stood up from the bed, pulling Victoria’s wrist to shove her back. “Who told you to seduce me!” Victoria accused, blushing, then swiftly flipped over to the other side of the bed, watching Alexander miss his mark with a cunning look. Interesting! “Come here, let me devour you,” him saying this was like commenting on the weather. Victoria grabbed a nearby pillow to shield herself. “Alexander, I don’t want to marry you anymore. I can’t handle a man like you. You scoundrel, if I get eaten alive by you every day after marriage, how can that be?” Men are naturally adept at flirting and in bed, Alexander doesn’t see himself as a bad guy. If his buddies heard someone describe him as a ‘skilled driver’, they’d probably be astonished! “What you say doesn’t count, no one has ever dared to reject me!” Alexander got up from the bed, elegantly adjusted his clothes, and headed towards the door, “You’ll go hungry for being late!” Victoria gave Alexander’s back a harsh glare, reluctantly following him downstairs. As they descended, servants were already setting the table. Victoria hurried to wash her hands, intending to help in the kitchen. “Miss, you don’t need to bother, I can manage by myself,” the servant observed Victoria more and more favorably, polite and without airs. “It’s okay, I have nothing else to do anyway. Call me Toria from now on!” Since she was staying here, she needed to get along with everyone; otherwise, in such a wealthy family, she wouldn’t even know how she’d end up. Better not to trust people easily from now on… Alexander pulled out a chair at the dining table, his gaze cold as he watched Victoria eagerly helping in the kitchen, a hint of approval flickering in his eyes. He didn’t like women who always put on airs.
