1072 Words
Days passed slowly for Mariam, as if she were living in a state of anticipation. The thoughts that surfaced after her meeting with Layla continued to linger, and she couldn't shake the feeling that something significant was on the horizon. She returned to the details of her mysterious childhood, trying to recall what happened on that enigmatic day in the forest. One morning, Mariam decided to start investigating her past to uncover any clues that might help explain the shared dreams she had with Yassin. She had to return to her small village, a place she hadn't visited in many years. Despite her anxiety, she was excited to uncover secrets that might be buried in her old memories. Upon arriving in the village, everything was as it had been: the old stone houses and the narrow streets she knew so well. The atmosphere here was tinged with nostalgia and longing for the past. Mariam's heart beat with hesitant steps toward her childhood home, the same house she had left behind when she moved to the city. Her mother welcomed her warmly, but there was something in her gaze that made Mariam uneasy. They sat in the garden and talked about life and old memories. Despite her numerous attempts, Mariam couldn't bring herself to discuss the incident in the forest, and she felt a fear of broaching the subject. One evening, Mariam decided to visit the site of the incident in the forest. After years of absence, the forest still looked the same, but the sense of mystery surrounding the place was stronger than ever. She took a deep breath and began walking deeper, where she had once felt an invisible pull. As she wandered, her memory started to return. She recalled feeling a strange pull, almost like a dark light drawing her in, leaving her astonished and fearful. There was something mysterious, she couldn't pinpoint what it was, but it made her feel as if she were not alone. She remembered how her mother had rushed to her, her face full of worry. Mariam sat on the ground, trying to recall every detail of that day. As she reflected, she felt an invisible presence watching her. There was something from the past, from the mysterious memories, that seemed to reappear. She began to piece together the incident, trying to answer questions she had never had answers for. Why did she feel she wasn't alone? Why was there a sense of fear and hesitation? There was an invisible connection, something linking her to something larger than just an ordinary incident. Returning home that night, her thoughts were consumed by memories and dreams. She began to think about Yassin and the connections they might share. Could there be something from the past affecting their present? Could old experiences have a link to the shadows Yassin described? In the next session with Yassin, Mariam decided to share some of the details she had discovered. Yassin was seated in her office, looking as tense as usual. After exchanging pleasantries, Mariam began her discussion earnestly. “Yassin, I did some research on the past, and I think there is a connection between what we are experiencing and an old experience from my childhood. I recalled a strange incident that happened when I was young, and during that incident, I felt a mysterious pull.” Yassin looked at her with concern and asked, “What do you mean by a mysterious pull? Could it be related to the dreams I’m having?” “I think there’s something linking our experiences, but I can’t explain much yet. I’ve been trying to find anything that might help, but I still need more time.” Yassin felt more questions arising from Mariam’s words, but he was convinced that something real lay behind it. “I want to help you, Mariam. If there’s anything I can do or if you need any additional information, I’m here for you.” Mariam and Yassin exchanged looks filled with determination and concern. She realized that this investigation into their past was not just a personal task but a joint journey that might reveal significant truths. There was an invisible link between them, and by exploring that link, they might understand the shadows surrounding them. Their search continued over the following days, with Mariam and Yassin exchanging information about their dreams and memories. Mariam began to notice some common patterns between Yassin’s dreams and her own. Specific details resembled those she had lived through in her childhood, such as places and people who were part of those dreams. She started to feel that something was slowly revealing itself, something that might be connected to the old incident in the forest. She was trying to understand the link between all these details while balancing her work as a doctor and the time dedicated to the investigation. One day, Mariam called Yassin to discuss new developments. “I found something intriguing in my old records. There are hints of experiences that might affect dreams and visions. I believe there’s something that can help us understand what’s happening.” Yassin listened intently, looking at Mariam with deep interest. “What did you find? Can you explain it further?” “I found that there are some cases similar to what we are going through. There are issues related to unexplained experiences affecting the subconscious. Perhaps there’s something bigger than just dreams, something related to the connection between our minds in ways we don’t fully understand.” The session continued with discussions and ideas about what could be connecting their experiences. Mariam felt that things were becoming more complex, but she also felt that they were on the verge of discovering something significant. Meanwhile, Mariam continued to think about her meeting with Layla. Layla’s comments about shadows and connections behind dreams constantly echoed in her mind. She felt she might be on the brink of an unexpected discovery, but the larger question was: what would this discovery be? And what would it mean for her and Yassin? As time went on, Mariam felt that every piece of the puzzle was slowly coming together. Her journey into the past and her discoveries about dreams began to open new doors for understanding the mysteries surrounding her. But as she got closer to finding answers, things became increasingly complicated, and she realized that this discovery might be more intricate than she had imagined.
