Green Eyes

     You know how you meet a kid in elementary school and stick with them through the highs and lows of high school and all the drama in high school. I did his name was Xander well Alexander he was tall and had the greenest of eyes and thick dark hair. He had this harry potter looking glasses and I would always tease him about it because I wanted one that looked just like it. He was the perfect tan like his skin was always sunkissed. He was also the smartest person I knew even when we were kids I remember this one time when we were kids he and his teacher got into an argument about him being right on a math question and he turned out was right. He was the kindest person I knew he was there for me through every break up every failed exam every bad day, but hen one day he was just gone and all I got was this stupid letter that said he left and won't be coming back anytime soon. It also said his life is too complicated, but I was hurt I was mad at the fact that he didn't say goodbye to me and just left.

"Lexi just give me five more minutes" I murmured covering my head with my cozy blanket 

Scarlett Sophia Jones, it's 7:10 am you are supposed to be there in 20 mins. So I suggest you hurry up I heard her walk away and close my bedroom door. I looked at my alarm and it was 7:15...  it was just 7:10 how-  then I realized I was going to be late I jumped up went to the bathroom and showered and put my hair in a messy low bun and took my white blouse and pencil skirt off the hanger on its a little snug but it will have to do then took my vans to put it in my bag and looked for Lexi's high heels and as soon as I found them ran out the door and called a taxi to go to Roman Enterprises.  

It took about ten minutes for the cab driver to arrive and I shoved the money in his face and ran into the building, I saw a woman working as the secretary and I walked up to her and gave her my papers she looked at me up and down and said your floor is the 25th and pointed to the elevator I thanked her and was on my way. She gave me a map of the building it almost feels like I'm on my first day of high school and I'm looking for my classroom. I walked out of the elevator looking for my office B23, When I found it I realized I have work already and got into the paperwork. When I was deep into my work I heard a knock on the door I looked up and saw a girl she had short brown hair and electrifying blue eyes 

 I answered "Yes"

"Hi I'm harper I'm supposed to be your tour guide, sorry I'm late," She said with a smile and came closer to me and gave me a coffee, and said "Welcome To Roman Enterprises I see you found your office already" 

"Yeah, the directions were really specific, I'm Scarlett"

"I know" She laughed " well we need to start the tour we're a little behind schedule and we need to get a move on our boss hates tardiness. Oh that reminds me rules and regulations are on the packet to your left near the printer and let's go downstairs to the cafeteria after that we will go to H.R and I will introduce you to our management team. but first, there is someone you need to meet."

"Who," I asked  

"Our boss," she said this in a duh tone " come on he is probably in his office right now she signaled for me to get out of my chair and follow her, and I did we went to the room to doors down from mine she knocked and heard a gruff voice saying" Come in," She said sir our new data Architect is here would you like to speak to her," she said

"Sure," The deep voice said again the voice sounded so familiar but I can't pin it to someone then she oped the door wider and I saw him, couldn't see him properly due to him writing something down on a paper but he looked muscular and broad then he looked up and I saw those forest-green eyes and they took the wind out of me 

I whispered “Xander?”
