This man was a maniac! A complete psychopath! A crazy lunatic! He killed his very own mother. What could a mother have done to warrant her very own son kill her. She was still cursing him in her head when she heard in speak again. "She was a kind woman, the very gentle and loving type" Then why did you kill her!. Racheal screamed in her mind. But on the outside she was still calm. The shock of what she just heard, was kind of helping her stay speechless. "Your not going to ask me why I killed her?" Desmond said after observing that Rachael didn't even show any sign of being interested. But even after saying that Racheal still remained speechless. Seconds passed. But Racheal still didn't say a word. Desmond was slowly getting pissed. " I said ask me why I killed her". Desmond said with anger evident in his tone. As if on command Racheal asked " Why did you kill her? " But her tone was like someythat just got all her life drained out. But desmond didn't care as far as she answered him, he no scratch that she was fine. "Good, that's a nice question". Desmond acted like he hadn't been the one to command her to ask. "She was too caring, always butting in my business. She always wanted to act like a caring mother and it sucked. Do you want to know why?". He asked again and this time Racheal didn't waste time to ask "Why?" "She was the reason I turned out this way, and she was always trying to make up for it". Desmond said with a laugh that sounded like it came from hell. Racheal had to put in her all in other to not show the confusion she was currently facing out on her face. His mother was the reason he turned out this way? What could she have done that could've created a monster that's this person standing next to her? "It was her fault, all her fault". Desmond said again blaming his mother. Racheal really wanted to ask what his mother did, but she didn't want to spoil her plan, so she kept her lips sealed. "Why don't you just ask what she did, I can feel your curiosity". Desmond said looking at her But Racheal refused to say a word. She was going to see her plan through . After noticing that Racheal had decided not to talk, Desmond didn't force her to. "I'll tell you." Desmond said then he spoked again "18 years ago....." ... 18 years ago A young boy of about 13 was walking back home from school when he met 4 huge looking guys hitting another timid looking kid. When he saw what was happening he immediately wanted to help. "Hey, leave him alone". But as the huge looking boys raised their head, the young boy was immediately intimidated. "Em.. em.. I.. you should leave that boy alone". The young boy stammered as he saw their faces. " If you don't want to partake in this beating, you better get your ass outta here". The one on the far left said. " But your hurting him". The young boy said again, gaining more courage. " Just scram away from here". The one in the middle who looked like he was the leader said, then they continued beating the scrany looking boy. The young boy wanted to help, so he jumped on one of the guys that was beating the scrany kid trying to tackle him from behind. But that stupid idea was what made all the guys gather around him to beat the hell out of him. When he got home, how? No idea, he met his mother on in the living room pacing. When she saw him, she was shocked. She ran towards him holding him in her hands, frantically checking his body for any more wounds. "Desmond who did this to you". She shouted after checking his body and seeing no more serious wounds. "It's nothing mum". Said the younger version of Desmond. "How is this nothing? Who did this to you? How did this happen?" Martha - Desmond's mother asked rapidly " Mum, it's nothing serious I'm fine". Desmond said trying to shake her hands off him. " I'll go to my room now". Desmond said after he had successfully removed both her hands from his body. " You fo nowhere young man, this is the 5th time you've gotten yourself beaten up this month". Martha said with anger all the worry dissipated from her tone. " It really wasn't my fault". Desmond defended " You keep saying that, how do you expect me to believe that you were just on your own and someone would give you a beating like this". She complained. She was tired of always worrying about her son who never seem to do anything right. With a tired look she said " Your Uncle called me today. He said that he could help you stop getting into all this fights, that he could groom you into becoming a better person" "You don't believe him, do you?". Desmond said with hope, but his hope was washed away when she said "You'll be leaving tomorrow, so go in there and pack your things". "What!!" "No mum, you can't do this. You know what Uncle is like, you can't yake me there". Desmond struggled. He hoped that this was one of her jokes, she really couldn't do this, could she " I've made my decision ". Martha said as she walked towards her room, clearly tired of arguing. " But mum it really wasn't my fault this time. A bunch of guys were bullying another kid, so I stepped in to help, I didn't start this fight ". He hurriedly explained hoping it was going to get him out of this. He thought it worked when his mum suddenly stopped walking, but when she turned be knew he was done for, her expression said it all "Who made you a helper, why is it always you that has to help, can't someone else do it. You are still a child for heaven's sake" "But mum, I.. I..." "That's enough, you are going to your uncle's tomorrow and that's final". His mother said and walked directly into her room. With that sentence, Desmond knew that no matter what he said, no matter what he did, he was going to his uncle's. That was the beginning of his nightmares. The next day Desmond hardly slept the whole night. When the sun arose early in the morning, it woke up a new hope that his mum might just be joking. So he left his bed to do his early duties, he finished his morning duties earlier than he had ever finished in his life, then he went to make breakfast. He made breakfast for both himself and his mum. After he finished making breakfast, he placed his mum food on a tray and headed towards her room. He opened the door and saw that his mum was still sleeping, he carefully placed the tray beside the bed and left so his mother could sleep more. He was heading towards the kitchen to take his own food when he heard a knock on the door. He had already forgotten that he was supposed to pack, actually he had forgotten everything his mother said to him yesterday. Since he had already convinced himself that she was joking. He waited until the person outside knocked again before be went to answer the door. He forgot to peep through the key whole before he opened the door, if he had, he wouldn't have the door so soon. When he saw his Uncle at the door, his face immediately became pale, all what his mother said yesterday also came back. "How is my favorite newphew doing". The man on the otherside of the door spoke seeing the other person was too surprised to speak. "Why are you so surprised. I told your mum to tell you I was coming to pick you up personally". Desmond's Uncle said as he leisurely walked into Desmond's apartment. "What are you...". Desmond was not able to complete his words when his mother spoke "Trinidad, you came quite early, welcome". Then she gave him a hug. "Desmond, that's no way to greet yiur uncle". Martha said as she faced Desmond, then she turned toward Trinidad and said "Please, pardon him, he might still be in shock as he is just seeing you after many years". Then Trinidad smiled and looked at Desmond with an understanding look "Any ways, we have to get going, have you packed yet?". Trinidad said facing Desmond. Desmond who hadn't even thought of this actually happening, was about to say 'no', but his mother beat him to it "I packed it up for him, all he needs to do now is to get dressed". Desmond was shocked so his mother wanted to get rid of him so much that she had already packed his clothes. After a few minutes, Desmond was all dressed and ready to go with his uncle, he even refused to hug his mother goodbye, and Martha didnt push it. That was how he followed his uncle, the main beginning of how he became a psychopath.
