Thirty minutes later, we arrived at the shopping mall in human territory. Nora interlaced our fingers and practically dragged me into the mall. We passed through throngs of people. Some were supernatural and others were humans, since we are on human territory. I felt Nora drop her hand from mine.
I was disappointed when she pulled her warm hand away from mine, but she did something unexpectedly. She sneaked and wrapped her hand around my waist possessively, tugging me closer to her.
"Nora, people are watching." I whispered shyly.
She frowned, "So what if they're watching?
"I am just protecting what is mine from vultures," she replied, growling lowly.
Her hazel eyes darken as she scans the crowd. "Aww... Mate is jealous," I teased, grinning like a fool.
