Crumbling beneath me, yet I don’t fall as Eve holds me flat against the wall, not coming out of her fury mist as fast as I am. I look down, away from the pulsing rage and empty darkness of my sister's twisted face, blank black eyes, and instead, where both her hands are pressed into my body, I see what it is I can feel.
