I take time to sit and pull out the dried meat, bread, and some nuts from my array of items, and stop while rifling through when my hand touches something wrapped in fabric at the base. Two fabric-wrapped items I never had before. Right down, in the deepest part under my supplies, making the base of my bag lumpy and uneven. I drag both out and unwrap the first, longer, narrower one, confused about where it came from and why I only noticed it now.
